Although I'm not a real Sami fanboi this is my third Atmos bar from them since 2016 and they just get better. The voice clarity from the center channel is excellent and the new sub woofer is now as powerful as the rest of the system.

Great Dalby Atmos Soundbar

The one reason it doesn't get 5 stars is connectivity with the Samsung TV I purchased at the same time. The eARC HDMI connection keeps disapearing from the sound options and I have to unplug to get them back.

Thank you for purchasing the new HW-Q990B Soundbar and taking the time to leave a detailed review of your experiences.
Please be sure you are using a high-speed HDMI cable with Ethernet Channel (sometimes called HDMI HEC cable). Also be sure to enable HDMI-eARC in the Expert Settings menu. Lastly, please also verify that you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Connect your soundbar using Wi-Fi and the SmartThings app is the best way to update your soundbar.
Make sure your soundbar is connected to the Wi-Fi network using SmartThings.
Unplug the soundbar, the subwoofer, and the rear speakers for 30 seconds, and then plug them back in.
Open the SmartThings app on your phone and select the soundbar to access its control menu.
Tap the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.
Navigate to Information > Firmware Update > Update Now.
Follow on screen directions until it says the update is complete.

The guys did a great job with the install and gave some basic training, there is a lot more to learn though about the system. It was the most cost effective wireless system I could find. The installers said they would have to order a part that broke. I am still waiting on them to come back and istall that part!!!
