I've reset it countless times and the issue returns. Sounds great when it's not having issues, but happens more often than not. Between this and my experience with a new Samsung TV (hooking this up to it with e-ARC is apparently an impossible task), I don't think I'll ever buy a Samsung product again. Save yourself the headache.

There are a few steps you can do to make the soundbar's audio the best it can be. Try using SpaceFit Sound+ and AutoEQ.
When you use SpaceFit Sound+, your soundbar will automatically calibrate sound and enrich bass to adapt to your space even if you aren’t using a Samsung TV.
Samsung’s Auto EQ Technology is exclusive to the HW-Q990B. It uses a microphone mounted in the subwoofer to detect and correct low-frequency response peaks caused by the room dimensions and the subwoofer location. The result will be a more neutral overall low-frequency response.

I'm sorry that you're having delay issues with your soundbar. There are a few ways that you can fix this.
Press the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear) on the soundbar remote until you see SYNC scroll across the display. You will then use the UP/DOWN buttons to change between 0 to 300 milleseconds.
If you are using a 2020, 2021, or 2022 Samsung TV, then you have a feature called Audio Pass-Through. You can use this feature to correct your audio-sync issue if you are connecting to a Samsung TV. On your TV go to: Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through

Seems like a common trend amongst buyers. Upgraded to latest firmware and nothing. Directly from Samsung support "it is a hardware issue". Hoping they can figure it out for their next sound bar - for now I'm using sonos
