Its been working better than expected. Great surround sound. Strong bass and amazing Dolby atmos effects. Really brings movies to life.

This product was recommended to me by a friend. When I set up the equipment, which was very easy, and began using it, I was happy with my purchase. The sound quality, overall, is great. I would prefer a little more bass, however, having said that, I might need to just fine tune the sound adjustments. So far, I am very pleased with this product. The only real piece of negative feedback I have is, the lack of detailed instructions that comes with the product. It can be found on line, but it would be nice to have an actual hard copy of them.

Sounds is impressive. I have a big living room that is shaped weird for sound but the automatic feature on these get it done no problem. Only issue Ive had is that it has disconnected from the app like 2 times and I have to re-pair them. They still work without the app so it’s not a huge problem but if you want more control then you need the app.

This is the king of the sound bars in 2022. It has excellent sound from all speakers and the subwoofer will blow you away. Better that the sound, is Samsung's customer service. My house was struck with a power surge damaging thousands of dollars in electrics and appliances. Samsung took it back and replaced the power board and even replaced the front screen as it was dented.

This sound bar was straight forward to connect to my TV and enhance the sound of my new QN95B TV. Connection took only minutes. I purchased this sound bar as “open box” with remote missing. A replacement remote from Amazon was at my door the next day. This sound bar uses the speakers in the TV as well as its own speakers. Also the subwoofer and rear surround speakers are wireless so that only have to be plugged into power outlets and no other wires.

Super easy to set up With my Samsung tv. This home theater in a box sounds awesome! Really feels like there are more speakers around the room. I bought the Q990B model, which is the 2022-2023 model but has similar features as the newer Q990C. The Samsung setup is also less expensive than the equivalent 4 piece you’d have to assemble from Sonos.

Bit pricey but the best sound bar out there. Tried the Bose 900 and the Sonos before I settled on this. It simply is an awesome sounding SoundBar. A bit of an overkill for my bedroom, can't go over 12 in volume. The Atmos and Surround makes watching movies so much better. If price is not a consideration, jut go get it. Well built, easy to setup and has been flawless thus far.

This soundbar is the one to beat. Best sound and better Atmos performance. I ran all the test files, played music and watched a couple of Marvel movies done in Atmos. The detail and immersion into the sound stage was impressive. I felt more at the movies than ever before. You can adjust every aspect of the soundbar via the Smart Things app. And connecting was easy both with the TV and the app.

Fantastic sound. unbelievable clean vocals, and strong sub. After printing out the Samsung User Manual, on line, it took less time to hook up and make it operational than to unpack the system. Had initially considered component pieces to pair with my 75" Samsung TV, But very happy with my soundbar instead. Top Gun Maverick is Unbelievable with this unit.

Incredible sound quality!! I read many positive reviews however was still skeptical in regards to the Dolby Atmos… Samsung nailed it!! We absolutely love feeling like we’re submerged into the movie and literally feel like we’re at the movies at home!! Worth the money for sure!

This sound system is absolute fire. I'm a very picky audiophile type and this thing fits the bill. It absolutely slaps. Big open natural sound that replicates a concert ambience in your living room. The sub is a beast, the surround and atmos effects are really good. Don't hesitate, it's the one.

I really like this soundbar. Once I updated the firmware, everything just clicked and fell into place. I have A Q60a Samsung and they work well together. I actually hear more effects on the rears than I did on the 850A. I'm still tweaking this thing a bit, but the only thing I have noticed so far is that the 850A sounded more natural for voices. While not horrible, the 990B sounds thinner for some reason. Overall, I'd recommend this soundbar and maybe some tweaking will bring out a bit more natural sound. There are a lot of options on EQ, other settings, etc. I really like the fact that I don't need a control box for the rears and they sound fantastic. I'm actually startled sometimes when I hear a storm and it sounds completely real, yet it is a movie with a storm. Not sure what those dropouts are that some reviews mention. I have had no issues. Dinked one star only for the fact that the 850A sounded more natural on voices, otherwise, highly recommended.

Awesome. Luckily my system works perfectly. The sound is powerful and the bass is fantastic. The wireless surround speakers really steal the show. I think the voice clarity is not quite as good as my friends Sonos Arc (my older 85" Samsung TV doesn't support Q-Symphony) but still great. I am quite happy with my purchase and wouldn't change.

Pro's: Movie theater sound, works seamlessly with Samsung TV, one remote controls everything. Con's: It is pricey but this isn't your average "sound bar". Need mounting option for rear speakers. Lacks setup and optimization documentation. Recommendation: Use Smart Things APP to optimize. Watch utube vid to optimize.

I had the 2021 model and was happy with it but always felt like there could be better out there. So I returned it and got sonos arc + sub + 2 rears. Underwhelmed after owning the 2021. Then this model came out and i tried it. I usually dont write reviews but holy cow this system is insane. It literally shouldn’t be this good. I was looking for a sound system that would blow my mind and ears away and this does it. Watching movies in dolby is amazing. I feel like im inside a movie theater. The soundstage, base, vocals, everything is superb. If anyone asks me for a recommendation on a sound system im definitely recommending this model

I was nervous at first on pulling the trigger on my first surround sound system for the family. The setup was very very easy, basic common sense. The sound is amazing. I have watched multiple movies and videos just to test it out and nothing had disappointed. Im glad I bought this surround sound sysem, thank you!

best soundbar system nothing could come close Just like in the movie theaters you can really feel the rumble & the kick of a single Subwoofer it can really immerse you a whole new experience like no other...ill buy another one just like it... HW-Q990B...

Sold my Bose 900 systems (subwoofer, rear channel speakers) because this was so good. If you have a newer Samsung TV this is a must. Allows you to use the TV speakers in conjunction with the bar. Highly recommend. Set up was pretty easy and no connection issues thus far with the wireless rears or sub.

Replaced my 6 year old Sony simple sound bar for my master bedroom. What a difference a few years made. Fantastic sound. Both movie and music are great. Obviously not component level surround sound or high fidelity sound. But for the price and ease of using it with my TV, this is just wonderful.

Coming from a 10+ year old Bose Acustamass 10 system (Wired with an external amplifier), I'm very impressed with how far wireless tech has come along. from the rear channels to the subwoofer. I have a Q series Samsung TV and it seamlessly connects to my TV and works with Qsymphony to use the TV speakers as part of the system output. It fills my large great room without any issue. Having this wireless is a big plus if you don't have the ability to have a cinema system, and it sounds great.
