This sound bar gets loud. It is very easy to install and I have had no problems with drop outs that others have stated. The sound is great and fills my room with real Atmos sounds. I love everything about this soundbar.

I bought this system to pair up with my 77” LG G3 OLED in my living room. This sound system is incredible. I have only had it for a week but I have not experienced any drop outs with the sub or rear speakers. The sound envelopes you and makes for an incredibly immersive experience. Highly recommend!

I buy the upgraded model every year and this year Samsung knocked it out the park!!!! 990B is a beast def recommend this one. Totally intend to buy another for my other room as soon as its back in stock. Tried wireless Atmos no too crazy bout wifi speaker connection ARC connection still goin strong... And like i said SoNos step aside !!!

Awesome sound quality. It's hard to imagine the sound that comes out of such small speakers. I feel like I hardly have any speakers but the sound is amazing. Each speaker has its own power supply. Set up is extremely easy. Highly recommend getting speaker stands or mounting the rear speakers on the wall. The system detects which speaker you put on the left and which on the right so whatever works for your setup. There is one negative. Keep the remote because my Samsung TV remote that's universal can't do the full set up and sometimes doesn't turn on this device.

This is a great sound system. Helped me to get rid of my "dynasaur" sound system.

Although the first one came in DOA....Best Buy handled the replacement quickly. I switched to this system after having a full Definitive Technology Tower speakers w/ 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup up and this is very close.

Amazing, never thought a sound bar would sound so great. I had an older 7.2 system and was not expecting this to make me completely switch from the receiver and all to just a single box system but it did! 2 rear speakers 1 sub and 1 sound bar and it is amazing!!

So, I've been skeptical of and quite frankly avoided Samsung products for a long time. I haven't, nor has anyone I know, had the best of luck with their major appliances like washers, dryers, kitchen appliances, etc. I began a search for a new sound bar and the Q990B kept popping up as top tier for 2022. They were right. I figured hey, Samsung does know consumer electronics even if they don't know major appliances. I'm truly blown away by this sound bar. Plus to get everything, including multidirectional firing rear speakers, and on sale, yeah, worth every penny. I'm even a fan of the processed sound from the surround, game, and adaptive modes. Any previous system I used I only wanted the base natural version coming through. The upscaling to the 11.1.4 so that you make use of all channels actually sounds good and feels more like a theater experience. My only real complaint is the almost necessary use of the Samsung SmartThings app. While you can change the settings with the remote it's an absolute pain so you generally end up over on the app which tends to lag, require force quits and restarts (I'm using an iPhone 14 Pro at the time of this review), and of course create yet ANOTHER account. But, for me anyway, I changed what I wanted and I'm good. I won't be changing much after that. It's worth noting that there are also WAY deeper and more advanced tuning settings in the app as well.

If not for one major and persistent issue this soundbar would be perfect. The left rear speaker is continuously dropping connection/sound. It was on rare occasion at first, then became increasingly more frequent. After the manufacturers warranty expired it has been constant. When I would call Samsung support both before and after warranty expiration, the instructions were always a factory reset which never resolved the problem. I have performed multiple resets and ID syncs and power cycles without success. I scheduled a Geek Squad visit and hope this issue can be resolved. It's so disappointing because otherwise this would be an excellent device.

I am not technically savy, so i had to watch a youtube video to set it up. But boy was it worth it. Its like being in a movie theater. Im still learning what this equipment can do but i was and still am impressed with the sound clarity and quality. Best purchase to date!

One word - AWESOME! I haven’t had any disconnection issues. The soundstage is clear and concise, I’m not an audiophile but when we watched Black Adam I was amazed how I could hear the background symphony throughout the whole movie. I have no regrets so far purchasing this sound bar.

Setup was very easy, opened the APP, it found the Soundbar and all was good. Optimizing sound was just as easy, click a button and the speakers figured it out, no need to hold your phone at different places in the room Very impressed and like the integration with my Samsung TV

This is a great surround system. We returned the SONY for this one. I dont know if we use all 11 channels but we can hear the distinct front and rear channels. Also it fills our 20x20 living room, with one side open. Watching Top Gun Maverick was like being in the cinema.

Now about 6-8 months into ownership and this sound bar has exceeded all expectations. We have an LG TV and it works seemless with it. The surround sound makes you feel like you’re inside the show/movie. This is a 10/10 item

This is the best soundbar system I have ever heard! I get compliments all the time from friends who experience it. Pairs so well to my 8K Samsung TV.

Amazing sound quality!!! It works right out of the box. So easy to set up.

Great sound, just wish rear speaker power cords were much longer. I have not had any issues with speakers disconnecting (others state they have disconnection issues). I really enjoy the bass. You are able to fine tune sound levels for various speakers in "Device Settings" and"Channel Level". Considering what you get and the price (bought it on sale when it was 1399), a pretty decent bargain. A separate media receiver, and appropriate speakers to achieve Dolby Atmos could be had for more money, may sound better, but for ease and simplicity, thus system can not be beat.

Excellent Sound Bar. A lot of power that will satisfy majority of rooms. I’ve had product for half a year now. Paired up with a Sony OLED. No issues with surround speakers drops like reviews mention.
