So far it is working every time I press print, unlike our old inkjet; however, the copy is lighter than I’d hoped.

Unfortunately it does NOT print double-sided pages AUTOMATICALLY. Need to return and change to another printer.

    Affordable Little Printer.

I went with a laser printer this time and it works great for just about everything but photos. Super small unit and wireless so it can be put just about anywhere. This thing prints extremely fast!. It's actually an HP I believe. Its a little hard to get it to take paper but then its fine.

Very good small printer for day to day black and white. Easy to set up and run, not finicky like many printers. Ink lasts a long time. Efficient and low maintenance.

Good at Text, bad at Greyscale

If you are printing black text on a white background, this printer is amazing. Black text prints out crystal clear and you can even read microscopic font sizes. If you are printing white text on a grey background, it's a disaster. Greyscale images come out pixelated. Depends on what you are using this printer for.

    Decent for the price

This printer is decent for the price I paid. Works well although I don't do high volume, so I don't know how it would perform under those circumstances. The one gripe I have is that it doesn't power off unless you pull the power cord out. Strange, but when I called customer service they confirmed that. Who would make a product without and on/off switch?? If you leave it plugged in, it will stay in a sort of "standby" mode indefinitely. The thing woke me up at 3AM and turned on it's usual power-up cycle! It's alive!!!

    Very Basic

I was looking for a very basic model for my business to print labels for shipping. I was also hoping to use it for printing on card stock as thank you inserts in my packages. I appreciate the price point and I'm happy it is only black and white because I am tired of printers that won't print black and white text because the yellow is out. I do not plan on doing anything fancy, so this is all I needed. I had difficulty getting setting up the printer wirelessly so I had to connect it to my computer with the cord to do so. After setting up my computer with the cord, I was then able to print wirelessly, maybe 10 times. Then it said that there was no printer connected which was frustrating because 30 seconds earlier it worked. After connecting it with the cord, it worked again I then plugged the printer into the computer and it finally worked. I also was unable to run card stock through without jamming. It doesn't seem to be able to handle much more than text weight paper. I even ran through some photo paper and the toner smudged off... this is either a problem with the toner the printer comes with or the printer itself. I don't know which. That's fine, I will do plenty of shipping labels so it will pay for itself in the end, but I am disappointed that it can't take heavier paper or be used for slightly nicer printing. This is a basic model that literally does the most basic tasks, but don't expect it to do anything more. And expect connectivity issues.

Good printer, won't connect to wifi without USB

I have had this for a couple years now and it is great. My only problem is that I have to change my wifi password fairly often and every time I do, I have to bring out the USB cord to set up the printer, which is a whole rigmarole since I don't keep it near my PC. This problem is specific to me, so I'm not docking points.

It prints, yes, and is small. It often drops off the wireless network and doesn't remember the print job. For long documents, I have to reprint parts of the doc several times. Toner running out more quickly than I'd expect. Not bad overall, and I had space limitations. For that, it's fine. Not great.

This is a good printer. Ran out of ink sooner then expected but with a $10 refill kit we were able to get it to print again.

    Toner Scam

    Posted .

As with all recent Samsung printers, this printer has a counter that forces you to change cartridges before you are out of ink. My printer will print out Samsung's own printer reports flawlessly with no streaks or anything FOR DAYS but tells me that I'm out of ink when I try to print something. Don't trust them until they fix this.

    Worst printer ever

After owning this printer for nearly 2 years, it will not print documents until the power cable is removed and plugged back in. There are also significant paper tray feed issues. It doesn't want to grab the paper, even after cleaning the rubber rollers. Lastly, Samsung has given up on printers and sold their ownership to Hewlett-Packard who I particularly despise due to their extremely poor customer service and aggressive overcharging of consumers.
