I have two sensors already. I wanted another for my upstairs area. I love these sensors. They allow me to detect any movement or sudden increase in temperature in my home while at work. Awesome technology for little cost.

I bought this motion sensor because my previous model stopped working. Samsung changed the battery and design. It was on sell at best buy. they have a wide range of samsung smartthings devices always.

I have the older version smartthings motion sensors, and love the new one, the way it mounts and the magnetic ball to swivel the sensor however you want it. I now want to swap all my other sensors.

This sensor only says there is movement or not, so pets will set it off. It can be power as a trigger for another device, or used in conjunction with another sensor to indicate something is amiss.

It worked set up was easy however it kept disconnecting on me. I returned it, it was too much having to reset all the time and it was a process having to reset it

Overall a great product that makes a smart home actually smart. Only issue is some of them lose their sync after a while, luckily those show problems quickly and Best Buy has a great replacement policy.

I have about 10 of these positioned all around my house. Works without an issue until the battery depletes in a year! Great little product.

Had a ATT Digital system with a large monthly charge, Replaced with the Samsung Smartthings and it works great, no central monitoring but direct notifications to your phone.

This has allowed me to better monitor the front of my house, while saving energy and providing other great data.

These are the best motion sensors I have had for this price. They are very easy to link up and the magnet mount makes them easy to adjust angles

Hopefully this sensor lasts longer than the previous version. Build quality looks better, also like the magnetic mount. Uses a weird 6v battery, wish Samsung could utilize standard AA or AAA

I have it set up to automatically turn on lights during a certain time of the day. I was worried there would be a big delay but it works great. Very minimal delay.

This it a good and inexpensive motion detector but I wished it would also have a a/c plug as an alternative power source. It doesn’t, so you will need to buy extra batteries for it.

Good quality and easy to use, nevertheless, I'm a bit disappointed that it is only a motion sensor and not a presence sensor so you have to keep that in mind.

I have this sensor above doorway and there is no way to get even near doorway, let alone through it without being detected. However, the range is not great, maybe 8-9'?

I enjoy this product. It is reliable & I enjoy that not only can you check motion in my room , you can also check temperature.

I use these to automate lights in closets. The tape and magnet both hold well and make them easy to adjust. I can’t speak to range or FOV.

These are very well designed and trigger reliably . The Magnetic mount makes it easy to fine tune the coverage angle.
