Although I also have Google Home integration it's sometimes easier to press the button to turn on lights rather than shout over the surround system to turn on a light. Besides, I don't know about you, but I fear trying to shout over Darth Vader...

This sensor allowed me to monitor a door that’s not in my wired alar system. I like the ability to be able to add more of these sensors in the future to monitor different areas in the house. Very thoughtful of Samsung.

I purchased this for a business whose roof hatch kept coming open and was unnoticed for days on end. We had to buy a smart hub in order to connect this to our system, but once it was, it has worked fine.

Does exactly what it should. Keep your home secure and always know if a door or window has been opened. Used in conjunction with Smartthings and security cameras, lights, etc. and the possibilities are almost limitless.

These sensors are very stable have great connection and good distance. Super easy setup. And have worked everytime. I have 7 of these and they all work everytime. Battery life for me has been really good as well

I use this with my Smart Things system to turn on the garage light that is on a Z-Wave switch. I programmed the system so the light turns on when I open the door, and turns off 10 minutes later.

Read the Instructions, then plug it in and all goes well. We loose power a lot where we live and it has not failed to reconnect to our router/gateway and all the devices connected to it as soon as power is restored.

Installed these on my garage door. With the app, I get notification when the contact open and close. The sensor is small enough that it can fit in many places.

Works well. I have several of these and have paired them with both SmartThings and Hubitat. Some are over a year old and I've never had to change batteries.

This is my favorite smart home sensor. I’ve gone back and purchased several more. It’s sensitive, but not too sensitive. It works amazingly well on my garage door.

Actually this is very good multi-sensor. You can use it for doors to detect when it is opened or closed. But also you can you it to detect inclining and this is just poerfect!

I got several of these sensors and found you can use them for pretty much anything. I put one on the fridge because my son keeps leaving the door open. Multiple uses including Garage Doors.

It seems all Samsung ST products are pretty solid in maintaining their connection to the ST Hub. I have replaced 3rd party zwave sensors with Samsung and have had no connectivity issues

I have tried just about every home automation product there is and Samsung has performed perfectly. This sensor is mounted to my garage door and reports if the door is open too long.

I purchased this to add to my existing Samsung Smartthing hub, it was connected rightaway without any issue, and since last 2 months, it is working good as it supposed to be.

Super impressed with this set up. The features packed into this small package are impressive. If you are using this for a door it is neat that it will detect a knock!

This generation of sensor is better than the last. Better battery life and less false positives. Its great.

I have two of these on different entry doors. They seem to be functioning well. Linking to hub was easy. I have these trigger messages on my echos through Alexa too.

I have multiple open/closed sensors and this one has gotten smaller over the years. Only issue...a different (flat) battery. However, these batteries are cheaper than the CR2s of previous models.

Have numerous of these at two different locations and they work well so far. Experimenting with one that I installed on a gate to the backyard. Its in the sun for about 4 hrs/day. Working as I intended it to so far.
