Easily found the Smart Things door sensor & had a fast & friendly checkout . When I got home it was fast & easy to set up the sensor .

Have a few of these in the house, work very well for monitoring open / close of doors. Also use it to monitor a garage door open / close.

Contact sensor includes temperature reading also. Didn't know when I bought it, cool bonus. Temp not compatible with alexa.

I could not figure out how to pair this to my system i have now but I do have the smart things hub and it is GREAT I know when people are in and out of my place

This is a great product. Not only does it alert u when a door is open but also gives u a temperature reading of the space. Would recommend this to everyone.

I love the Samsung - Multipurpose Sensor - White. These are hard to find, but they work great and the price is just right!

Great little sensor that I was able to use with smart things to trigger the light to turn on when the closet door is opened.

For reference, I have 4 of these around my house, along with other Samsung SmartThings devices to automate lights and give warnings if a freezer door isn't closed, etc. The good: It is easy to setup, and they work well at detecting temperature and open/closed status. The bad: Out of the 4, only one has consistently stayed stuck to what it was supposed to stay on. I've had to 3d print a bracket to hold it in place that I can screw in. There needs to be an alternative mounting solution so I don't need to 3d print my own.

Big fan of smart things. This sensor works great. Placed it on all doors and tied in with automatic door locks when door sensor sense the door is closed.

I have had previous gen models of this sensor, and I found these to be quick and accurate. Also very good to look at. Definitely recommend

I bought this so I could know if my deep freezer is left open since I seem to do that every now and then. Works great.

Using it on all entrance doors to the home and I get notifications very time and door is opened or closed. Using it with my SST hub.

Keeps and accurate temperature reading and can indicate a connection even when the sensor is mounted slightly further apart than ideal

Slim design which makes it nice for tighter spaces. It can also be use in a different configuration than whats show in the picture. This makes it a nice option for open/close sensor.

I live in a bad city, this device is great for intrusions, but you have to buy a smartthings hub in order for it to work.

Simple to use if you have compatible products to use with it out of the box. Otherwise, have to do a lot of research online to see how to connect devices

Bought to use with SmartThings as a garage door up/down sensor. Had to switch it in the app to “Use with Garage Door.”

I’ve now had this sensor for quite some time it works great has excellent battery life and has never failed to trigger
