Good product, but unreliable battery usage

The downside to this product is that one day I'll have about 80% charge and then the next day its completely dead without any warning. I've replaced the battery twice in both already in the past 3 months.

When a device is not working the way it should, one of the first troubleshooting steps to try is a reset of the device. You can find the instructions for resetting the most current Multipurpose Sensor on our Support page here -- https://support.smartthings.com/hc/en-us/articles/213496343. You can also create a custom automation within the SmartThings App to alert you when the battery on the Multipurpose Sensor falls below a certain percentage.
