At that price, it's not bad, but the sound is disappointing for the $250+ range. You can do better. Best way to describe the sound is "basic". Bass is rather disappointing for the size and rated power. On the positive side, it's loud, if that's what you want. Good for casual uses, children, parties for old people.

You can try the different sound effects by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing PARTY, STANDARD, HIPHOP, EDM, ROCK, LATIN, HOUSE, or REGGAE.
You can also press the BASS button to use the powerful bass sound. Did you know you can also connect up to 10 Samsung Sound Tower devices wirelessly for a full party experience?
Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update (ver. 1031 released April 2, 2021). You can update your firmware by connecting a USB device with the firmware update stored on it to the USB port on your Sound Tower. You can find the firmware file by going to Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper left corner.
