      You can try the different sound effects by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing PARTY, STANDARD, HIPHOP, EDM, ROCK, LATIN, HOUSE, or REGGAE.

      You can also press the BASS button to use the powerful bass sound.

      Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update (ver. 1031 released April 2, 2021). You can update your firmware by connecting a USB device with the firmware update stored on it to the USB1 or USB2 port on your Sound Tower. You can find the firmware file by going to Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper left corner.

    The device sounds great. But it does not sound like 500 watts. I did the firmware update and still sounds the same. I believe two of the smaller speakers would have been just fine. For what I paid it should sound better. FYI this speaker has a cord and must be plugged in to operate.

    I purchased this speaker and it was an open box purchase that had been brought back to the store from a previous customer. One month later I come to find out that their sale price was really close to them open box purchase price that I received. Kind of a bummer for me financially.
