This is more than a large room filling speaker in that it easily accepts inputs from most any device and connection that you could choose. If you like to use songs stored on or streaming to a smart phone or a tablet, bluetooth pairing takes a minute and works flawlessly. Additionally, if you have music stored on a memory device, there are 2 USB ports. The Giga Party speaker will also synch musical sound with multi colored lights, hence the name Giga PARTY speaker. Samsung makes available a Giga Party Audio app for free. The app enables the speaker lights to alternate, and to flash different colors depending on the effect selected such as PARTY, DANCE, AMBIENT, etc. There are also DJ sound effects that may be selected as well as an echo effect. The speaker housing is “V” shaped and enables sound to be cast in 2 directions. When I placed the speaker in the corner of a large room, the sound traveled down the adjacent walls and everywhere in between reaching every part of the room. I followed the Bluetooth pairing directions and was using my Apple iPhone music library in 2 minutes. After pushing the BASS button, the sound was awesome. Though I only have 1 speaker, Samsung software has a stereo setting that may be selected — if you have 2 speakers. It will also play (according to the manual) in “GROUP” mode with up to 10 speakers. There is a microphone jack to facilitate selecting and using the Karaoke mode. I liked the small LCD information screen at the top of the speaker to confirm commands from the remote control, and provide info regarding the title of the digital music playing. My only complaint was the lag that occurred when using the remote (which must be pointed directly at the speaker display). I am accustomed to touching controls on my remotes and having virtually zero lag time. This remote had latency for some reason and should be improved to minimize multiple touches to achieve volume adjustments, the on/off command, etc. Everything worked as described and the sound quality for a Party speaker was everything I had hoped for :-)

Very easy to move around from place to place and super easy to setup and connect to make this T-50 a good addition to anyone who likes to entertain guests indoors or outdoors. There are a slurry of inputs in the rear of the speaker to include a mini audio jack and analog stereo jacks for non-wireless connectivity, microphone with volume and echo adjustments and two powered USB ports that can be used for a flash drive to play songs direct from or just to power a tablet you might be using for karaoke. The Bluetooth pairing button is located here as well along with the group play button that allows you to join multiple T-50s together in unison for a complete saturation of music and entertainment throughout your party space! When the lights go out or the sun goes down you’ve got some LED lighting built into the speakers that will pulse or glow with whichever mode you set them to. It’s a nice feature that help make this speaker unique and noticeable. There are not many EQ functions to play with and fine tuning isn’t an option, however I think the preset EQ settings are good enough to deliver the sound you are looking for at a party. Overall, I like the simplicity of this speaker- it works without much fuss, its easily moved around and it gives you a couple nice features. I think the price could be a little lower which might entice people to buy more than one unit, but that is my only real gripe.

It's 25.6 pounds, 25.6 inches height, and 13.8-inch width, so it's pretty significant. It's 500W RMS Power; it's more than enough for large rooms or outdoors. The speaker comes with a remote. Batteries included. I did not try the DJ option, but the speakers have DJ lights built in the music. It's pretty cool because it's not too flashy or strobe lights. Its just simple color changes. Decent Bass not too overpowering or low. The speaker came with presets. You can pick between EDM to Rock. One of the reasons I did not give it five stars was due to power. The speaker is not rechargeable. It has to be plugged in at all times. This can be an issue if you plan to take it outside. I do not want to carry a large cable and look for an outlet to use it. Other than that, I enjoy it very much. I think this speaker looks like a soundbar or a theater system since it looks so stylish inside my living room.

Excellent Party Speaker

The only real way to enjoy the music is by using "Bass On" which gives an excellent boost in volume, bass and feel of the music. I was a bit worried about how the music would sound coming from the floor instead of the older style speakers that usually sit on a tripod or stand. I will say that there's no noticeable difference of the music coming from below. In fact, this speaker is much safe to have around the house. There's no way this thing will accidentally tip over, which has been a fear of mine for speakers on stands and tripods. The LED custom colors is limited but still a fun piece of flare to add some lights to your music. The speaker has a nice tablet/phone slot to place your device too. Big win by Samsung.

You can try the different sound effects by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing PARTY, STANDARD, HIPHOP, EDM, ROCK, LATIN, HOUSE, or REGGAE.
You can also press the BASS button to use the powerful bass sound. Did you know you can also connect up to 10 Samsung Sound Tower devices wirelessly for a full party experience?
Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update (ver. 1031 released April 2, 2021). You can update your firmware by connecting a USB device with the firmware update stored on it to the USB port on your Sound Tower. You can find the firmware file by going to Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper left corner.
