This laptop is light, powerful, runs cool, has a backlit keyboard, and has an excellent display. In addition, it turns on quickly and the fingerprint scanner (on the side of the machine, which one would think is inconvenient) works very well, recognizing most swipes immediately. Even at its full price, north of $700, it would be a good buy. At $400 as an open box, it was a great deal. I have several laptops, mostly Lenovo Thinkpads, but I gravitate to this one repeatedly.

Got this notebook about 2 months ago and absolutely love it! It is fast and easy to use. There were reviews talking about fan noise which I have not experienced so far. I use it for work and sometimes it is on all day; still no noise. Love the back lit keyboard, too. The only thing I had to get used to is how it opens. The lid is quite strongly down and there is only a little groove which is challenging to access. 2 hands are necessary to open the notebook. However, it is a very minor nuisance.

Great all around laptop, good performance and usability in a small package. highly Recommended.

This is my first SSD computer and I was really surprised at the speed and nimbleness of this machine (I guess it's still a "machine: as the one moving part is the screen that lifts up) I have a Mobile DJ biz and this baby does the trick. PS: I'm a big Samsung fan when it comes to laptots. I also have an HP which is okay, but they seem pretty tight.

I have been very pleased with my selection. It gives me a fast dependable, slick tool to take with me on business trips. I have been surprised at how Chris the picture is and the speed of the device.

I kept watching the price until it went on sale. I was considering a Dell as well. This laptop has a really nice configuration — 13” screen, i5 processor, 8Gb ram, 256Gb SS HD, thin, light, with a really sharp display. Good overall performance for surfing, streaming, word processing and spreadsheets. I don’t use it for gaming, so I can’t comment on performance for that. Great value and it totally meets my needs.

This computer fully satisfies my computing needs. I love the weight and size.

I purchased this laptop because i thought the old one was slow. This definitely met my criteria in terms of speed since i do open multiple applications at the same time for work. And this is light enough that when i need to carry it for travel, it's easy.

This is the best laptop I had, very fast and touch screen is very good.

Wonderful little CPU. I bought it on sale, which was definitely worth the price. I would not by this computer if it was not on sale. Consumer must understand the product and the difference between ssd and hdd drives. The speed of the drives/CPU, is just a small part of it. Do your research and them choose if you are ready for ssd.
