A favorite computer for me
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have enjoyed this machine. It is convenient, fast and has a very comfortable, backlit keyboard. It also has three USB-C ports with one being lightning. I have learned that it will charge with the charger in any of the ports. It is a little inconvenient that there is not any USB port. But a hub corrected that with no problem

Outstanding laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the laptop Overall construction of the laptop is impressive. It would have been nice to have one full-size USB port. Very quick and still learning new features. Only one complaint. I bought the 256 gig with 8 ddr one month later they had a sale on the 512gig with 16 ddr for $100 more. Could have used that, I guess just bad timing. That’s it great laptop.

Not bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Mac before this and I can honestly say, I really enjoy this laptop much more. It’s pretty quick and I love that I can switch over to a tablet if I need to. I also love I was able to download coloring things for my son and he can use the little pen it came with to color. With the quarantine, it has been a lifesaver for school work! Overall, a pretty nice laptop.

Really Nice and Fast
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After I set this unit up, I was very happy with the upgrade from my previous laptop. The resolution and the screen is sharp and bright. The keyboard is backlit and easy to use. My only complaint is the pen has no place to be stored unless you buy a sleeve. The pen is not quite accurate on screen touch and varies.

Quality product, more expensive than competitors
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good laptops, solid build. Pros: Light and thin, thoughtful features included by Samsung such as the consulting mode. Syncs well if you have a Galaxy phone as well. Comes with a Pen & a 3.5mm jack. Cons: No "options" key between right Alt and Ctrl. No USB type A; buy adapters. Could have reduced the price by giving an i5 instead of an i7 which is pretty much the same thing.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. It is very quick and the touch screen is a big help, unless you forget you have it. The body and everything about this notebook feels premium and will not disappoint.

This is a great computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is Samsung's version of the Mac pro. If you want a versatile computer this is it. It doesn't really weigh anything especially compared to a 7 year old one. The graphics are very vivid and crisp. The backlight is very useful at night. Great buy all the way around.

Great computer for just about any purpose
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer aims to be in the MacBook pro level of luxury device. It is thinner and lighter than either MB Pro or Air and its specs sit right somewhere between the two. I got 5000/1500 roughly on Geekbench 4, but the performance is very sensitive to the proper settings. It can run silent, slow and long, or fast and loud. It also gets remarkable score on PC Mark 10, contrary to some reports it is rather stylish, the screen is great and it has a responsive touch screen. You get all day and if you careful all night battery life out of it. Pros: Great looking computer, good price to performance ratio, touchpad and keyboard Cons: None really at the price I got it at. It easily installs Linux. I tested it with Clear Linux and especially with Ubuntu 2020. The latter makes it even better and much faster unit with geekbench of 5300/1700 while preserving good battery life.

Nice on the go laptop/tablet with some negatives
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is the smallest one I have ever owned and I am a power user of high end laptop/desktops. Comes with great battery life ( about 5-6 hours of use and many more on standby.) It has a battery extender setting where it will only charge to 85% but double the life of your battery over several years. Screen looks great 1920x1080 60hz, touch panel is very accurate and responsive. Folds back to go into tablet mode for easy couch browsing. Comes with the usual bloatware you expect, I had an issue trying to install a program and ended up reformatting the hard drive with my own version of windows your results may vary. The hard drive is a 250gb NVME SSD, read write speeds were phenomenal over 1000mb/s on each. The wifi is fast got my full internet speed when I tested it. Comes with the usual AC power adapter and also a touch pen/stylus which is fun to use and comfy. My only complaint here is there is nowhere to store the pen with the unit so its slightly cumbersome to carry both around. Laptop has a 3.5mm headset jack, 1 usb-c port and 2xthunderbolt ports. If you want to use a usb 3.0 or older device you will need a hub converter. There are no video out ports as well once again you will have to look for a converter of some sort if you need this. Processor is a fast i7 idle temps around 40c and under load you may seem temps around 80-90c, max for the processor is 100c. Fans slightly audible under load. 8gb ddr4 not easily upgradeable without some careful prying apart. Audio sounds good but warning I'm not an audiophile but it was plenty loud for my tastes. The power button doubles as a finger print scanned on the right side of the unit, I found it to be hit or miss, I like it when it works. Samsung gives you an auto updater app to update your apps and drivers but it won't let you update anything unless the power is plugged in which is slightly annoying being tethered to update. It says that it just needs 30% power but the pop persists until you plug it in. Keyboard is no frills has a backlight feels like what you would expect from a laptop/tablet combo. UHD 620 integrated graphics will get you by just fine for what you are doing don't expect to be doing any gaming on this unit unless its very light weight but this is not what it was designed for. Weight of the unit is so light I'm almost afraid its gonna slip out of my hands but it is refreshing to have something so light on the go. TL;DR If you need something on the go to work on, I would recommend this its fast, lightweight but with a fast SSD and strong processor will take care of you.

Good computer for average user
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Functionality and ease between laptop and notebook is good. Provides the average user with necessary tools without selling product or functions that they will never use. Love the feel of laptop and ability to use touch screen.

A solid computer
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the computer for a short time, so I would like to update this later. My first impressions are that it has a lovely sleek design and the touch screen and pen are very responsive. The main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 there are a few things that make it not 100% perfect. For one, it's slightly annoying to have to press the "fn" key to use the key board controls. Also, the memory included is rather small, and the system does not have an up-gradable SSD. Also, the computer only has USB-C ports, no USB. I know that everything is beginning to transition to USB-C, but we are not there yet. Because the majority of items are standard USB, it is a little annoying to require an adapter. In summary, my favorite things are the sleek, lightweight feel of the computer, the speed of the processor and the very responsive touch screen and pen. I would definitely recommend this computer.

Not too Happy
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this Laptop for almost a year now. I am happy I did not review sooner. I have enjoyed using this Laptop up until last month when I started to notice a decline in the battery and the fan seems to always be running loudly. I only use this laptop at home and also not frequently. I had the Microsoft surface before this and the battery never gave me issues in the 2 years I had it. I would trade it in now for a better product because I doubt I could get real value after one year. But if you are looking to be in sync with all your other Samsung devices then this is a good buy, otherwise I think there are better Laptops on the market. Thanks.
