This Monitor is pretty amazing. I like how vivid the colors are. Im using it on a racing sim and it seems like the perfect screen for that application. It says black on the description, but the back of the monitor is the white one with the cool round light design. The only think i can see as a down side is the weight of it. May want to get help mounting it if you are afraid of dropping it.

Upgraded from 34in ultra wide to this. it was well worth it. Picture quality is amazing. Definitely recommend this monitor.

Was very timid after doing my DD and seeing all of the issues with defective screens and lack of QC. Finally picked one up on sale during Black Friday. Been 2 weeks and I am NOT DISAPPOINTED. After the latest firmware I have no flicker on SDR. HDR I will admit is broken, and probably will never be fixed via firmware, however, SDR looks as good if not better than HDR on my LG GX OLED. I can’t complain for the price point that I purchased at. (I still signed up for 4-year geek squad replacement)

I love it, the 240 hz refresh rate is awesome, my online gaming experience got a huge upgrade, Im a big fan of the 32:9 aspect ratio, especially if you play FPS games online, I had the CHG90 144hz before this one, but the graphics in this one and the speed left me speechless, highly recommended, I recommended you to get the best buy total tech before considering buying it, you have 24 months of warranty in every purchase, you get your money back immediately in you consider this one, love the nice discount from 1599 to 999 usd, Im glad I pulled the trigger and bought it.

When I acquired it in 12/2022, the screen on the Samsung Odyssey 49” was great with nice sharp images and lots of continuous screen space. Starting in 5/2024 lines began appearing and, a couple of weeks later, more lines appeared with some areas blacked out (See photo). The Monitor is out of warranty and I had not purchased the additional 4-year protection plan. I contacted the manufacturer directly in order arrange for repair. The rep said there were not any service locations, that I would need to pay to have someone come onsite for the diagnosis visit, plus pay again for the repair visit plus the cost of the part. I was told by the representative that it would not be worthwhile to repair and that there may be more issues even after this repair. The Samsung representative recommended I just purchase another Samsung 49” monitor. I was very unhappy with this result for the following reasons: 1 – This was the most expensive monitor I had ever purchased and it only lasted 1 year and 6 months before presenting with problems. (My cheaper, smaller, non-Samsung monitors still work after 5 years) 2 – I dislike being forced into getting extended warranties but in this case, with this product, I wish I would have purchased it. 3 – I would not trust Samsung products again if I would have to spend money on the buying another one every year. I did not have a good experience, but hope this info helps.

This is absolutely the best gaming monitor available! It checks all the boxes. This is exactly the same monitor, as the G9 Odyssey with the previous problems fixed. If you buy it, make sure you update to at least firmware 1007.1(latest as of 11/2020)

Best monitor on the market in my opinion. Use it for my sim racing setup and love it more than old triple monitor setup.

The Set up of a Lift time, coupled with saving. Had been watch the market for this screen and the discount could not be missed close to 40% off thank you BBY. Also the item came in with the adapters necessary to use my current standing desk setup or off desk monitor mounting, as usual Samsung Wins in my book.

Great monitor I love it, I’m not into computers like that but when I seen this I had to get it and it’s amazing.

Replaced my Acer Predator monitor with this one and couldn’t be more happy! It’s a much faster refresh rate, better color, and overall larger. It’s been a great experience gaming and using it for work. Almost turns 3 monitors into one. A bit of a challenge to mount with the correct mount to support the weight, but got it to work finally!

Absolutely a monster of a display 9.5/10. Great for gaming or productivity.

I bought this item as an “open box”. It said it was in “excellent condition” when I chose this monitor but when it arrived the screen showed light coming from inbetween the plastic frame and the monitor screen at the top. It doesn’t seem to affect the monitor but it is annoying when something is said to be in excellent condition and it clearly isn’t. Especially with the price I paid.

This monitor is completely worth the price. Absolutely amazing picture quality

Finicky with my m1 MacBook Pro. I saw some bleeding in the edges. It was a huge monitor. I bought it for coding and it was just too big. My eyes would feel like they were stuck open after leaving my desk

Very good immersive experience with some games, 240hz was a pain to get to work although after I got it working had no isssues. Had to warranty mine because of issues with tabbing out of games, monitor would go black and give me blue lines. Not great for fps but story games or survival games it’s very good.

Received mine with red thin line. I was so disappointed and need to return. The bad thing is out of stock. Quality wise it was an awesome gaming monitor.

Excellent monitor for not only gaming but also increasing work productivity. Not having to navigate between screens has increased my work productivity significantly.

I am not a gamer. I-got this for my office because I need to have multiple applications open and I was sick of all those cables and monitors. This made way better. Love it. I left you a before picture.
