So much screen, it actually takes some getting used to. Great for productivity if you multitask a lot.

I've been going back and forth with widescreen monitors for over two years and wasn't satisfied. The days of 1080p and 60Hz are over. I followed this monitor for seven months via RTINGS.com and a host of Youtube reviews. I must say that Samsung has it a homerun with this monitor. I purchase my display as a openbox unit with my fingers cross. Everything was in tact, I guess whoever purchase it prior realize it was over kill on their wallet. Whoever you are I thank you. I must add that I purchase the protection plan as well. Nothing made by man last forever.....

I did tons of research on this monitor and decided to take the leap at this point. I made the purchase and it barely fit into my sports car. It's a good thing I was able to have it ride in the passenger seat. :-) When we got it home and hooked everything up. It was only then that we found out the screen had pixel issues. So, we immediately packed it up and returned it for an exchange. Since that was their last one. We had to drive 40-miles to the closest store that did have one as well. It was also their last one as well. It's a popular monitor. Anyway, we picked it up, got it home and set it up. It works flawlessly. After reading/watching so many reviews of unfortunate experiences. I gauged the timeline when Samsung appeared to have finally resolved many of the issues. I am so happy to say that at this time. I don't have any of them. *fingers crossed* lol I was surprised however to discover that this monitor DOES NOT have internal speakers. With all of my research. I was under the impression it did. The monitor even has volume settings!!! Misleading a bit much? No image issues. No popping sound issues. I use it with a 16" M1 MacBook Pro connected via HDMI. And the display is awesome. I'm not even a gamer. Just a chronic multi-tasker. I need the visual space. :-) Be forewarned that you will have to upgrade the HDMI cable for a better than 60Hz experience. Anyway, I hope this review helps someone make an informed decision out there.

Upgraded from G5. Against all the reviews about its issues out there, I bought it for teleworking and I refuse to step away from it after work. I did buy the 4year protection plan with it. This monitor should be mandatory for work. It embellish my room beautifully. Slightly too big for my desk though, but I like everything about it. Samsung add a built-in speaker to it and you'd get the embodiment of perfection. For some reasons the BB app won't allow me to add pictures to this post.

For starters I am coming from a Acer Predator x34. 2 months of owing the G97 This is by far the most visually striking gaming monitors I have ever had the pleasure of using. I primarily use this for my racing simulator, which it feels made for, but fps and the sort look amazing as well. Some games, especially older ones look a little wonky in the menus and on the left and right edges of the screen, but newer games seem to be flawless. Do your self a favor and play doom eternal or forza horizon. Everyone whos sees this is blow away by the immersion in games. The monitor also looks very good in my opinion. I have mine on a arm so the back is visible when using it on my simulator. The white color matches my case and the adjustable RGB matches my set up. I my self have had no issues of screen flicker at 240 hz, any dead pixels, or any other issues that seem so frequently talked about with this monitor, For this I gave a 5/5 for quality. For Value: This is arguably the best you can get right now. 240hz, 32:9 1440p, g-sync, its hard to complain about the price when you are buying this level of tech, how ever this is a big purchase, and you can be sure that they will have newer, better versions with in months. 4/5 Ease of use: Set up wise, wiring, and packaging was all great. It is worth knowing the box this comes in is massive, it did not fit horizontally in my VW hatch back, had to put the seats down and slide the passenger seat forward a bit. Its also worth considering the foot print of the monitor stand, It looks like a joke when you fist take it out the box. Prepare for this thing to dominate your desk. One more thing to consider, officially there is no monitor arm that "officially" supports this, how ever there are work arounds that can be found on the internet that require modifications of the stock stand and monitor arm, The VESA adapter that comes with the screen is only good for a static mount. Due to the "center of mass" being so far forward due to the 1000r curve it puts a large amount of weight significantly past where the mount attaches to the VESA adapter. I have a ergotron LX-HD arm and was able to get it to work with said modifications, but i would expect some support to come as these 32:9 monitors gain in popularity. For all this I give Ease of Use a 3/5

Great for gaming and work/multitasking. It even gives you the option to do both at the same time!

Okay, so it's a killer screen for sure. Only issue is it had a dead pixel & the button on it is borderline broke which is common with these screens. Although, if my screen broke tomorrow I'd buy another the next day.

I was hesitant at first, this is a pretty big ticket item. I had recently upgraded my setup to include an 5950x and a 6800xt, so I had plenty to run it at max settings. I was originally running two 32inch LG HD monitors. This 49 inch Ultra Wide is everything it claims to be. The bright vivid colors and the refresh rate blew away my old setup. I was able to enable the refresh rate to 240mhz ( with DisplayPort ), and as amazing as it was, It made me nauseous. So, I backed it down to 120Mhz and I am still getting used to it.

User experience may vary as some of the units have issues. I rolled the dice and lucked out. My unit has no issues as of yet. I upgraded from crg and a chg horizontal set up to g97 and crg horizontal. Plan is to go g97 dual vertical set up. Let me say that the difference from 1800 r to 1k r is massive and worth the buy. I was so amazed that you can look from very left to very right of the monitors and your eyes do not even focus. In gaming this translates to faster target acquisition as you don't lose those precious milliseconds adjusting focus to see target on edge of screen. For productivity this is less eye fatigue. Totally blown by this. I am still trying to figure out what is different from gaming and business model. Can't find it anywhere.

A great gaming experience. The only thing resembling a complaint that I can think of is that you have to download dark mode extensions for Chrome, otherwise sites like Amazon or something are just way too bright. It's also not a 4k monitor for almost a thousand dollars which feels a bit wrong The peripheral vision in games is nuts and probably an advantage.

I've been using this monitor for about 8 months and haven't had any issues so far. I am not a gamer so I can't speak to it's gaming ability but for work it's been a great addition. I had been using two 24" monitors for work but wanted something more. This monitor allows me to split the screen into 3 sections that are large enough to get all my work done without switching between applications. I liked it so much I just bought two more for my employees.

We love this monitor so much I bought a second one for my mom. It’s great. The quality on the monitor is great sound quality is good. The only thing is that I can’t figure out how to do the split screen for two computers but it switches easily between the two hdmis.

Good screen but I need to update my computer to get the most out of it. This thing is huge and I’m thinking with the right computer hooked to it the picture would be great too.

Beautiful Computer using for work not gaming. Only problem it took to long to get it set up for appointment with Geek squad, they would not deliver without appointment and it was a big pain took to long.

Picked this monitor up during Black Friday deals for $1099, and so far monitor has been amazing. As a pre caution, I also purchased Geek Squad Protection, seeing as there has been reports of multiple quality issues with the G95T model. Only issue I've had since purchase is popping noises. Recommend using with HDR off, as blacks are too bright with it on.

LARGE MONITOR! YOU BETTER BE READY FOR IT. i USE IT MAINLY FOR EDITING AND IT HAS A PRETTY GOOD PICTURE. I'VE ONLY GAMED ON IT A FEW TIMES, BUT IT WAS GOOD. I TRIED TO CONNECT MY XBOX ONE, BUT THE PICTURE SEEMED TO BE SO SO. NOT SURE IF I DID SOMETHING WRONG, BUT WHEN I PLAY PC GAMES, LIKE DAYS GONE, IT'S SHARP AS A TACK!

This is a fantastic Very large monitor. Pretty much all that anybody ever needs. Fantastic graphics, very attractive design, great features. It has enough space to put two or three screens worth of material at the same time when using it for productivity. Build quality feel is excellent. I will update this review after using it for a while.

Been looking forward to this monitor since june last year and Im so happy to finally get it! The size of the monitor is great and the picture is clean and vibrant. The PIP feature is really cool to be able to split the screen into multiple sections. With the latest update the big issues that plagued this monitor seem to be resolved at this time. Also, Highly recommend only getting this monitor if you have a beefy gpu to use it at its full potential.

This monitor is the best monitor I have ever owned. The utility that can be done with it is phenomenal. It’s like having 2-3 monitors without the bezels. The colors are vibrant, whites are bright, and blacks are dark. I have had other monitors that boast dark blacks only for it to look grey. This one is truly DARK. Samsung has some of the best panels on the market in terms of color. However, the reason I took off a star is because those same panels are fragile. It may be due to the extreme curve in the monitor, but I had to return the first monitor I received due to a dead panel. Thankfully on my second go, all panels worked and it has treated me well. Just be very careful taking it out of the box, and have someone help set it up if you can.
