At first I was hesitant on buying an ultra wide monitor. However, once installed it was a completely different story. This monitor is perfect for gaming with 240 refresh rate… but you must have a top of the line video card. I’m using a GeForce RTC 3090 so no issue for me. I also use the monitor for work which is great because it’s like having 3 separate monitors. Working on excel has never been better.

    My Experiance

Not quite perfect. Had an issue with the first one has to trade it out. Fantastic for work, expensive but has value. I wish it was a little bit taller of a screen. I also wish that the stand was about another inch taller just for my situation. I don’t think it has the greatest resolution possible. But I definitely think that if you’re just buying this for every day use and that isn’t that important to you it’s a great purchase because it’s essentially combining three screens into one giant screen.

    Problematic Monitor

This monitor looks fantastic. The picture quality is best part of this monitor when it works. However there were multiple issues when using this monitor, enough so it was returned within days. Issue #1: 240hz mode: With a RTX 2080 HDCP will always show as not supported. When fullscreen gaming content is loaded the monitor will just turn off. Issue #2: 120Hz mode: When video content is loaded with HDR enabled the monitor will turn off. When this happens the monitor will keep turning off until the video is closed. Even though 240hz mode is advertised this (120Hz) is the default mode due to limited support for 240hz mode because of the requirement for compression support. Issue#3: Twice the monitor would not turn until the power cord was removed and re-attached. Issue #4: When connected with Display Port the monitor will not always show BIOS screens so there will be issues getting access to the BIOS screen or when booting to safe mode the text menus are never displayed.

    - This is a same day review after pickup for only the items mentioned below, will update if anything changes - Purchased for in-store pickup along with Geek Squad protection - Was ready in ~4-5 days - Box looked like it went through rough shipping - Followed instruction manual for setup - Haven't noticed any internal packaging defects yet, need to inspect more closely - Screen looks good at first glance, haven't noticed any light bleed or dead pixels at the moment. Did notice some smudges on right side of screen, almost like something dripped down the monitor screen, or there was something that had a light layer of grease that slid across the screen slightly. - Curvature is great, never have used curved screens before but this is awesome. - Installed PowerToys from Microsoft to set up custom window snap zones, greatly enhanced the experience - Running this on a laptop's 1070 at the moment until upgrade happens. Laptop fan stays steady, no drastic slow-downs or increased heat output. - This is perfect on a 6'x3' desk. If I instead had 6" less depth so that the desk was 30" to the back, I would most likely opt for a monitor arm to maintain the right amount of distance and have the same amount of space for my keyboard/mouse. - Monitor legs do not protrude past the screen more than an inch or so, doesn't interfere with keyboard/mouse

I am on my second monitor; the first one only had 1 bad dead pixel. The second one has been good thus far. The colors and brightness are amazing. No complaints here besides the first monitor issue, and the monitor is a little wobbly when it is moved. I wish the price were a little lower, but it is better than the original 1700.

We updated all of our monitors at work to a 39" curved Samsung. I liked it so much I wanted one for my home office and computer setup. I found this and ordered it and WOW. I prefer IPS monitors but so far the VA has been just as wonderful. Hopefully it will continue to be an awesome monitor.

First of this is for work not play - updated my 3 monitor setup and the first unit had a dead pixel , the swap out was a joke due to the employee not knowing what he was/is doing. Anyways monitor works well very overpriced for what it is and doesn’t even have speakers… at peak brightness you can probably rost Justin beaber and a marshmallow. I chose to mount it to clean up the desk space and this where I had my issues there are only 2 desk mounts I could find on all of Amazon and the one that works with additional required piece is almost $400. Ya I know the price of the monitor and I should complain about the pocket change to mount it but god god. In all I enjoy it with not because I have an enormous desk to actually fit this thing on - in short do your research and see if it’s work it to you

I love this screen. I got used to it. I don't think I can go back anything smaller. It takes some getting used to though. It basically three regular screens in one. You will need to keep the box in order to move it though. I would not trust moving it without damaging it otherwise. This will probably be my last screen for the foreseeable future.

Wow! This is a massive monitor with lots of great specs. I primarily use for working from home and allows for me to be very productive with the large real estate of a screen to host multiple windows to accomplish multitask. Then as fore gaming it is very fast with response time. Only complaint is finding a desk mount for it at a decent price due to the weight.

Use it for programming. Having enough screen real estate to have 3 windows open side by side is game changer. The curve is great for vieeing comfortably from any angle.

Excellent monitor if you're a tinkerer and have the hardware to push it. Gaming on this thing or just doing productivity work is amazing. Ultrawide spreadsheets are sick I can never go back. Just beware you need to mess with settings and firmware to fix the small bugs that appear like windows having trouble waking from sleep etc.

As an IT professional and software developer, I love this monitor. Depending on the development task at hand, I can slip the screen space into different sizes. The biggest advantage in owning this monitor by far is the absence of two monitors to manage and how the split screens are completely seamless. The deep curvature of this monitor really helps with seeing end to end without having to move your head and strain your eyes. If you are a developer and don't care about gaming, like me, you can still use this monitor and I crease your productivity. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who already use two screens and looking to be more efficient in managing space and productivity.
