It is a good size which is easy for travel. A quality item and a good price.

With a metal outer housing, this thing is solid. During long usage sessions it also stays cool unlike some other portable SSDs I've had. Speeds are super fast and it's nice that it uses USB C for interoperability with my phone and for future proofing.

On jobs I backup content and send clients a copy on a separate drive. The Samsung SSD drives are stable and easy to use with fast download speeds so I don't have to wait. They are also solid state which makes shipping less worrisome.

I do photography and bought this to use with my surface pro 4. it's fast, quiet, lightweight, and fun to show-off. Price is a little high, but when the cost of SSDs come down, so will products like this. Don't think about it, just buy it.

The Samsung 500GB SSD drive's small footprint is ideal for transportability. It takes up very little room and is lightweight. I use this with my MacBook 12-inch. The data rate transfer is fast. Good buy.

This SS hard drive is not much bigger than a flash drive and is as simple to use as a flash drive. I now carry it in my computer bag as an excellent backup for the data on my computer.

My main intention for buying this drive is to keep all of my photos and music external to my main storage. I want to keep my Fusion drive free so only the SSD portion is used. This thing is amazingly fast. I can open my photos library and browse through so quickly. I also run a Virtual Box VM running Windows 10 from this drive.

This is so small. 500 GB is plenty for me and this unit looks really sleek and works with all my operating systems. I paid more to get SSD since it is more durable.
