This ssd is fast and really small for what it can do!

It is a lot smaller than the other hard drive storage options. It is more expensive but I think it is money well spent.

Lightning fast read and write speeds! I bought this for my 2016 MacBook Pro 15 inch. The cable has a USB type C connection on one side or the actual drive, and a regular USB connection on the other to connect to your computer. I use a USB type C adapter to connect to my MacBook Pro. I read and write speeds are super fast!

Samsung T3 Ext SSD is great. It's VERY fast. I have a Fusion Drive iMac and the T3 is much better and a lot faster. I have two of these...one on each mac in the house.

I ended up returning it because it was overkill for my use-case, but this drive is ridiculously fast. A 1.5GB movie will transfer (under the right circumstances, mainly a 3.1 connection and decent hardware) in about 2-4 seconds. I could see this as great for media professionals.

i fell in love with these little guys so much that I bought 4 of them. their speeds are incredible (usb 3.1). & i love how I can set a password on them. i leave one at my office. anyone can try to take it.. but without my password they cant access it's contents!

This portable USB is perfect for all applications you need a USB device for. The incredibly fast read / write speeds are very impressive. Once you switch to solid state you won't want to go back to the standard USB flash drives. I highly recommend this.

I use it for external os. Works great on my Mac book pro. Works great.

I backed up the hard drive in my old computer in just a few minutes. this device is so small you can carry it anywhere

The only complaint I have is that this drive is way too expensive. It is screaming fast. The claims of speed and even my perceived speed in daily use are even better than I could have hoped for. I use it for musical applications and it works well for that. Much better than lugging around a larger drive. I can't wait until the larger drives (1TB+) come down in price more. Pre-formatted in ExFAT so large files are not an issue and it's both Mac and PC compatible that way.

Using it with Windows 10 installed on it for MacBook Pro. Blazing fast. Up to 500 MB/s read. Cable comes with USB 3.1 to USB 3.0. Would have been great if it came with a USB 3.1 to USB 3.1 instead and a small pouch.

This is the fastest USB way to get files into memory. I use it for a keyboard rig as a musician on the go. It loads large samples almost as fast as the internal SSD drive. Highly recommend if you need the speed!

I bought this drive to use with sampling. I needed a great drive that was dependable and able to be compatible for music with my 2016 Mac with USB type c. Amazing product and fast enough for my needs.

I just love a device that all you have to do is plug it in and it works! This SSD Drive is a great example! I plugged it into my Imac and up it came and was ready for action. Great Product Samsung!!!

Units works well in my older USB 2.0 port. Smaller footprint, less power. Replaced a HDD that I had for several years and was starting to get concerns about data stored of the HDD drive.

I loved this so much that I am going to purchase another one thos is very nice if you take pictures and would like to store them somewhere else so it won't take space up on your computer

I use this for my PS4. Simple plug and go set up.I have had zero issues since purchasing this about 3 months ago. I'd recommend this to anyone with a PS4 who is looking for extra space.

I have 4 virtual machines on this product and to date I think it is a god send.

With the large video and audio files that I work with, storage is always a concern. With this solid state drive I am able to continue to store my files with fast access.
