Customers are saying

Customers praise the POWERbot Essential Self-Charging Robot Vacuum's cleaning performance and strong suction power, noting its effectiveness on various debris including pet hair. However, some users experienced challenges with navigation, particularly around furniture, and reported that the vacuum's height sometimes prevented it from cleaning under low-clearance areas. Concerns were also raised regarding battery life and the robot's ability to consistently return to its charging station. Despite these drawbacks, many found the vacuum easy to use and relatively quiet.

    Must have for the disabled

I am disabled and vacuuming became a real problem. I'm so glad I bought the Powerbot. It does a great job and cleans under the bed where I normally couldn't reach. It is a little pricey, but again, worth it for me. I gave it only 4 stars because it doesn't let me schedule a cleaning time. You have to buy the higher priced model for that feature. All in all I'm happy and the employees at BB were very helpful.

I only had it for about 6 months. Then the one drive motor died. Nobody local will touch it. Have to box it up send it to a repair facility in some other state. I did love it but too much hassle to get it fixed. Now it just sits there...what a waste of money!! Only samsung product that I feel that way about.

    Powerful and smart robot vac

After using Roomba for few years, I was surprised that this samsung actually had suction power, similar to corded products. The way samsung moved about the room was much better organized and it did not get stuck anywhere. I am very impressed with this robot which is much better built than the flimsy Roomba. Highly recommended!

    Powerbot vs Roomba vs ??

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I got a Roomba and was very impressed with it for about 2 weeks then I started finding it dead somewhere in the house when I got home. I thought it would go back to it's charging station when it needed to. Also, it seemed to avoid the one "dog hair" rug that I really wanted it to get each day. I returned it and got this Powerbot. It seems to work ok BUT I was very disappointed that I somehow overlooked the fact that this model is not programmable so I can't program it to vacuum each day at a certain time. Big con for me. It is a little quieter than the Roomba. It has a bigger dust bin so can go longer without just stopping like the Roomba, when the bin was full. We have an old house with pets so lots of dust and hair. I've had it for about a week and ran it about 5 times. Yesterday I started it before I left and when I came home it was stopped in a place that I can't imagine that would make it "stuck"...just in a corner by the bottom of the stairs - all it had to do is backup and it would have been fine. I moved it, started it up again and then it just cleaned in the same area, in circles, for about 5 minutes until I was done watching it be dumb. I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting the R9250 - it's a lot more money but it's got great reviews, a more powerful motor, a longer motor warranty, etc. Thankfully Best Buy has a great return policy. I figure if I'm going to spend this much money on something I better get the one the I'm going to be stuck with for years.

    Excellent When Design Flaw fixed

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

All powerbots have a design flaw preventing cleaning randomly over several weeks use, easily fixed by customers. When the side bumps furniture legs, or backing into walls, the side lifts under motor torque and triggers the sensor for wheel extension, shutting down (protects when picking up off the floor). Some cardboard and tape in the wheel well can keep the wheels proper, so the Powerbot can be used with confidence. Instructions at robotreviews.

    I could not be happier

I did alot of research and looked over many reviews. Of course the reviews with mixed, mostly of people that do not know enough about the product. People that post things that are clearly known if you READ or if your smart enough to use toaster. Anyway enough about some of the reviews I have had to read. So I purchased this to help get things done that no one wants to do nor takes the time to do it right. Well this did just that. It has a good suction it pulls up alot of things that you dont see. I have a Dyson Animal and this is right up with it in cleaning ability for pet owners. A few tips 1. It has some good sensors and programing to guide it around but that does not mean you can leave c r a p everywhere and expect it not to get stuck or miss spots. So pick up items that do not belong on the floors, Daa 2. Clean the bin after every use. Dont get p i s s y because it did not pick things up because it was full and had no suction. Daaa 3. You need to run it everyday so it can keep up with your filth. Or it will always fill the bin during use. 4. Put the charging base somewhere it can find it. and keep the area clear so it can go home to recharge. ( Its pretty smart and know where if came from as long as you start from the base for cleaning. I have tested mine in a corner of the kitchen with items around for it to travel around to the base. It does great.) I am very happy with it so far, I am 14 days into my adoption and hope I am not tossed a curve ball later.

Exactly what a Robotic vacuum should be

The Samsung PowerBot I purchased was on sale for 599 and as of week 1 I can guarantee it was a smart purchase. I have a Whippet/Greyhound mix and a Siberian Husky so there is long and short hair all over my hardwood and carpet. Not only do the bristles collect everything on both surfaces, it traverses the entire downstairs with .8" high transitions from room to room. It can be noisy, but not distracting nor the level of a standard vac, also it has a mode that will let you reduce the suction for sound and power sake. All in all this one is the best by far out of the options. The Roombas and Neats lacked bristles to collect the dirt off of the surfaces. Hands down great purchase!!

I have it since 04/23/16, used 7-8 times but last night the left wheel stopped working. I like Samsung TVs, BD Players and Galaxy cellphones but this powerbot device must be adopted.
