I told my wife I would start helping vacuuming so I bought her this Samsung. She loves it and I get out of running the upright. This unit is easy to setup and comes with magnetic barriers to set boundaries. While she still runs the dyson, its not nearly as often. We have all wood and tile floors with one rug in living room and the Samsung handles it all perfectly. Our dog is short hair but the 3 ladies in the house have long hair and this unit chops it up and makes short work of their long hair. It has been well worth getting.

While this vacuum is taller than some of the other robot vacuums it is also more powerful. It does a great job of keeping up with the dog hair. Which is what my wife loves most.

My kids surprised me with this amazing vacuum cleaner. It's taking me some time to get it to go in a consistent pattern instead of acting like a drunk. Overall vacuums very well.

Great time saver! We run it everyday on our hardwood floors to pickup the hair from our two dogs. It does a great job but can sometimes become lost or stuck.

We love our Samsung PowerBot! It has so much personality we call it our third cat! I love it's design, with one side flat which makes it more efficient vacuuming against straight edges like walls. I also love the fact that I can just manually empty the dirt cup rather than having to bother with vacuum bags one has to replace every so often. Finally, I love that you can point the remote to spots it has missed and it will obediently follow like a dog. Honestly, the only thing that made me consider taking off a point was how often we would have to rescue the darn thing when it's stuck or if something gets stuck under it but that's just a testament to it's suctioning power so I decided to leave it at 5 stars. My only regret is not waiting until the Darth Vader and Storm Trooper versions came out but on second thought those sound effects would've gotten old really fast so no regrets after all. P.S. Sorry for the full dirt cup in the picture. This is the reason we call it our third cat. The first two are the of the furry variety.

We bought this vacuum because we've been wanting one, it was on sale for $400 off and we like Samsung. I ended up being disappointed by the results of this vacuum. The design is a bit taller than the competition which prevents it from going under our couch. The AI is not the smartest either. The vacuum will get stuck under my chairs' legs and cry for help by beeping repeatedly. It will sometimes spin in a circle and other times it will pause for a brief moment before resuming work. The vacuum doesn't even have a consistent pattern when cleaning. I've noticed it going around the same are multiple times. Setting up the WiFi was painful. The Smart Home app is unstable on both Android and iOS. I had to power-cycle the device twice before its SSID would appear. Linking Samsung Smartthings was even worse. It would find the device and require us to press the Home button but it wouldn't respond. Eventually, the vacuum stopped connecting to the WiFi altogether and wouldn't setup anymore. After two days of owning this device, it stopped working. It would turn on, count down from 5 to 0, then just display a battery symbol. Pressing any of the buttons on the device or the remote wouldn't work either. Samsung wasn't able to troubleshoot it. I found other users with the same issue as mine but they never got a solution or even why it happened. The device was basically bricked. Maybe it downloaded a firmware update and failed to install it? I'll never know. I returned it and I am now trying a newer slimmer, and also cheaper model from Samsung. Hopefully they fixed all the issues of the first generation.

If it did not continue to get stuck on my dining room chairs, it give this a four. My chairs are wide enough for the bot to go through, but it does not navigate the turns well to get out from underneath. So, it drains the battery simply trying to get out from under a chair. Guess I have to go diner style, and put the chairs up before starting it.

This robotic vacuum does an excellent job at cleaning the place up and is so fun to watch in the process. It gets all around everything and really pulls out a lot of dirt. It is very quiet but does alert you when it gets stuck somewhere. This is so convenient to have such a wonderful vacuum to just clean up I'm not sure I would want to go,back to hand vacuuming. It picks up dirt my traditional vacuum has not gotten.

Vacuum does a good job. Not all features work as advertised. Finding home base, restarting where it left off.

It mapped out my floor great. Battery lasted for the whole time. Seamed to suck up great. I was totally surprised how wonderfully it worked. I’m sold on this.

Copper is a great addition to our household. Now, Copper isn't perfect and sometimes he might get lost or get stuck while we're away. But, I can quickly pick up things off of the floor and start him up and then go about the house doing other chores. Then, I can do the same thing upstairs. The best time to run Copper is when I head out the door to run some errands. When done, I come back to clean floors. If he ever gets stuck, I will get a text message. Great product that I would highly recommend!

This bot can get stuck relatively easy. Sometimes it cannot navigate home. The vacuum is awesome. Cleans very well.

Love love. This picks up dog hair so well. I have it set on a timer for everyday at the same time and it sucks up so much stuff. Only drawback is it doesn’t go well from area rugs to tile.

The system as a whole has been great, especially with three dogs and solid floors throughout the house. A couple short comings - it sometimes sees a large clump of fur as an object and goes around, and it doesn't always go beyond one set of doors so it doesn't get our master bathroom which makes a bit of work to compensate, but the machine is EXCELLENT at its job overall.

The first one ran the best. The second one broke within 6 months. The third one had problems with programming. Now the forth one still has programming problems. You’d think I would of giving up by now. Truth is the vacuum when it works is the best vacuum around for picking up dirt. It stores a bunch of dirt between cleanings if filter. I think Samsung needs to work on programming issues.

I bought it after looking into a couple brands and I’ve generally been a pretty loyal Samsung customer but this product does not meet the standard. It definitely doesn’t meet its own product description. It does suck up dirt and dog hair decently but doesn’t go everywhere so it doesn’t get it all. I’ve had it for almost a year. It’s constantly getting lost and unable to find its way to the charger. It doesn’t clean against the baseboards and tends to stay 2-3 inches away unless it drives straight up to it. Same issue with under the lip of the kitchen cabinets. It won’t let me set it up correctly on my phone after trying too many times to count. Not worth the good money I spent on it. I should have bought the rumba, the one my parents have works so much better.

I've had several robots and love the Samsung the best! The camera makes it easy to not get stuck under low furniture and prevents bumping into them. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because this model doesn't give option to map the home and select which to clean like other higher models and brands. It doesn't give the mapping of areas that were cleaned or not.

Excellent suction, better than previous model. We had a Samsung Powerbot previously that failed (funny noise out of suction fan) during Warranty. Best Buy replaced the unit but didn't have the exact one on the floor so we went with this one. This one seems to have better suction. We have two dogs in our house and run our robovac every day. Not sure what we'd do without it.

I’m shocked how good this robo vac cleans. I even used my regular vac after to see if it cleaned good and it did. It’s not loud. I wasn’t able to get the app to work but honestly, I don’t need to tell my vac to clean when I’m away from home. Great beater bar. Easy to maintain beater bar, filter etc.
