Not as smart as I would like

The vacuum does a great job of picking up dirt and dust. But it tends to find the same spots of the house and keeps going over them. Additionally, everything in your house has to be off the floor in order for it to be most efffective. Too pricey for how much I have to monitor it and move it around from where it keeps going.

The vacuum is the best thing I have ever got to make my life easier and less stressful. The vacuum sucks debris, dusts, and food crumbs all well. It figures out which way to go and not to go by itself. It goes back to the charger by itself. I can schedule a cleaning time and the vacuum will clean the room before I wake up from my bed. I no longer have to worry about cord tangles and finding an outlet near from the vacuum. I love it so much. The only downside is that my kids are so scared of it. They always get freaked out by the vacuum. However, it pleases me in a way especially when they do not listen to me and time out does not work but the vacuum does.

    Surprising Vacuum

My wife and I love this product. So much so, we laughingly named it after an old TV series from the 60s, about a maid named Hazel. We programmed it to come on at 9 each morning. Each morning it runs it's route until the battery gets low, usually 30 to 40 minutes on turbo cycle, then it returns home to charge. After charging it completes the task and returns back home. We have four Grand-kids who live next to us and an inside/backyard dog and It's amazing how much hair and dirt Hazel finds to suck up. Hey Guys, You know that old saying about not buying the wife a vacuum for Christmas? It does NOT apply here. Jane loves it.

Powerbot R7070! aka Rover/Sam! Our new family pet!

Let me start this review by saying my wife did not want this robot vacuum! Needless to say, she was sold after the first use and we both love the Samsung POWERbot. We trust that it will do a great job automatically which frees up our time to do other things. First of all, this thing is powerful! What good is an automatic vacuum if it isn’t powerful enough? The first time we set it up, my wife had already vacuumed the floor a day prior and yet this little vacuum almost filled its canister completely full with dust and dirt with one room. Second of all, it is automatic! It has sensors all over it so that you don’t have to tell it where or where not to go. It has camera, bump and cliff protection sensors, so it automatically senses stairs and objects with ease. It gets under our freestanding oven/stove and between the chairs and under the table. It will automatically go down the halls and into the rooms and find its way back to the charger when it needs too. If we want it in a different room we pick it up and put it down in a room we want it to vacuum and press auto. I’ll admit it’s not perfect. Sometimes it misses a spot or gets a little overzealous with its remaining battery and has to stop away from the charger. We just pick it up and place it on the charger and make sure to press the play/pause button to wake it up so it starts charging. It’s kind of weird but sometimes we watch our little robot for entertainment because of how amazing it works and it is fun to watch. We highly recommend this little robot and just wish we would have purchased Rover/Sam a long time ago!

I absolutely love this vacuum! I am amazed every morning when I get up and empty the collection bin as to how much dirt and debris that this things sucks / sweeps up every day. Overall I am very happy with the quality of this product. I've noticed that it does get stuck on occasion, which is to be expected. Some very light debris gets missed from time to time by blowing it across the floor before it can suck it up. Otherwise I cannot complain with this system and believe it was worth the investment!

This vacuum has some powerful suction for all the hair and fur from my short haired dogs. It beeps when it's lost which is good to find it. However, it broke once getting caught in the blinds cord and I had to replace it the first week. You cannot leave cords lying around as it has stripped many of my phone charging cords. I love it. I still have to sweep the hardwood floors occasionally (I have no carpet) especially in corners it can't reach.

The suction power is good, picks up a lot of dust on my laminate floor. It does bump into the walls and furniture time to time, but not enough force to cause any damage. It does pretty good about finding its way back to the dock, but around 20% of the time it doesn't. The mobile feature is great, real helpful to turn on while at work and come home to a vacuumed house. Definitely notice the difference.

This is the first time with a smart vacuum and I’ve done my research and have to say I love this vacuum. On a full charge it goes for about 50-60 minutes. It picks up everything just make sure you don’t have wires in the way otherwise it will eat it

The Samsung Powerbot does a very good job of picking up dirt and the dog hair on our wood floors. It is relatively quiet and is very good at picking up along the baseboards. The battery will get it around our downstairs of approx. 2400 SF. However please understand the Samsung manual is very poor in detailing how to set up the WiFi, you will need to go online and find other sources to accomplish. The Samsung Home app seems to not work on my iPhone 8, although it works on my old iPad. Guess that's an Android/Samsung thing.

Unit does a pretty good job. Tried the roomba 960 first and that thing was terrible. Didn't pick up anything. This unit gets most everything off our hard floors. Carpet is ok, not as good an upright though. Huge timesaver as we have a dog that sheds quite a bit. I'd give it a 5 star, but it rarely finds the base when done.

I have the Samsung Powertbot and a Shark IQ and in comparison I will say the biggest downfall for the Samsung is the website. The suction definitely out does the Shark and the wheels on the Samsung is if itj had four wheel drive, unstoppable, It can roll through anything. Battery on the samsung wares start to die out at about 40 minute although it last longer if only doing floors vs carpets yet goes back to recharge when needed and starts vacuuming where it ended. Most reviews state the canister is not the largest although I only emty it once a week and have 2 small dogs so I belive unless you live with wild animals I dont see a problem with the canister. On a scale from 1-10 I would give the Samsung a 8.6. If purchased at Best Buy when on salr you pay $350 whis is nearly have the price of the competetors.

Good walking area and open space vacuum

The Samsung Powerbot R7070 is a good vacuum for cleaning the primary walking areas or central space of a room. It does an excellent job of picking up pet hair and other accumulated dust on both bare floors and carpet, including edges and corners. Negatives: For good cleaning, you must move all chairs, small tables, foot stools, etc from the space to be vacuumed. In a dining room, the Powerbot moves around table legs, but if there are many chairs it will become "confused" and not complete the room. It sometimes jams in a small space between chair legs or between furniture and a corner and shuts down. For better cleaning, you have to follow the Powerbot around and move obstacles as it goes. Deep cleaning definitely requires a hand vacuum. For these reasons, I rate the Samsung Powerbot R7070 3.5 to 4 stars.

I owned a 7040 Samsung robot cleaner for about 3 months. It seems that it was we always getting clogged. (the waste bin) is too small. Now the 7070 has a much larger waste bin . It also has a extra speed for suction which comes in handy .the bad thing is the difference in price. 300.00 or so

This is not a smart vacuum. Navigation is a joke. It acts more like a drunken bumper car than a vacuum. Suction is decent for a robot vacuum. Most of the time I have to carry it back to within six feet of direct sight of its charger for it to go home. Otherwise it will just keep roaming the house no matter how many times you press the home button. The first model we got was total junk. It would constantly error. The replacement at least runs. There has to be way better vacuums out there for your money. I wouldn't waste it on this one.

This vacuum looks incredible something straight Outta Star Wars noise level sounds like a regular vacuum or a Dyson no rattling noises biggest problem and the reason why we returned it it’s navigation system isn’t as good as Neato’s Samsung expects you to lay out magnetic strips throughout your house to prevent your vacuum from going in to specific areas Neato let’s you set those boundaries in an app on your phone. This Vacuum also uses a Camera based system for navigation and would get lost and stuck as others that use later don’t have this problem we returned it for neato D7

I Purchased this to do my man cave carpeting. This robot is outstanding. It has been able to navigate everything. It clean very throughly. It creates a diagonal pattern and also goes left to right and right to left. The best and I would buy another one for upstairs. The support from the Samsung the manufacturer is TERRIBLE. You have to tune it yourself. The app that you have to download is lousy. Worst I ever seen for an expensive device. Samsung should be embarrassed. Never able to get the app to work. The app usage is the only reason I gave this 4 stars. I may purchase any robot for the upstairs. May NOT be a Samsung. Don’t know yet

Does a great job vacuuming dog hairs from the carpet. My only complaint is that I wish the bin was a larger capacity. Dog hairs fill up quickly. Also wish the battery lasted longer between charges.

This is an awesome vacuum! It really is. Cleans the hell outta dog hair and dirt. Never had one problem with it picking up dirt. One actual flaw is that while it’s learning the house layout (takes about a week.. it’ll act stupid until it figures out the place) it bumps and scrapes itself on stuff. Leaving the sides marked up. It’s very convenient. For me thoooo I can do it much quicker with a wireless vacuum (btw dyson hands down). It’s good if you are always busy etc, but if your not... it’s jist go with a wireless vacuum if you want “convenience”... other than that I recommend this vacuum, but I recommend the dyson v10/11 more!
