I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my son and daughter-in-law in Upstate New York. They did the research and this is what they wanted. They said they love it. It does a fantastic job.

Great with mid pile carpets and bare flooring. It works great on my tile floor. I have 3 cats and they adjusted to the noise quickly. Due to the enhanced sensors the vacuum will divert away from hitting my animals. I even have a bunny who got used to it too. The trash been is a clear see through plastic that only requires an wireless push to pop up and out of the vacuum. You'll Enjoy this my friends. I've had roomba and Shark. I like it better than both for my house situation!

It reaches hard to each corners, it does map out the house well. The only downfall is the price too expensive. However samsung is on the right track very good robot vacuum.

Finally found a robot vacuum we liked after trying a few. So far, so good! It’s kinda charming and cleans like a boss.

Its super quiet and does a great job. I have had to clean the roller out and it didn't jump the molding between rooms like I was told it would.

Great suction. Cleans effectively. Sometimes does not make it back to base when charge has run out. Scheduling and manual control are easy to use and work well

There are so many choices and options in todays offerings of Robot Vacs after looking at reviews and options and prices we chose the Samsung R7070. Over the past 2 years we have purchased a 65" Samsung smart TV and a Samsung fridge from Best Buy and have been pleased with both so we decided to go with a upper mid priced Samsung Robot Vac. it has worked well and got a surprising amount of dust and hair from our tile and carpet floors, the auto docking feature is mesmerizing I guess we are easily entertained. We like and would recommend the Samsung the R7070 Robot Vac.

The suction power is terrific. It tackled carpet with ease. It also seemed to intelligently map its route throughout the house. It was just too unreliable to finish the cleaning job and return to home station. We routinely found it stuck and out of battery in random places so it had to go back. Hopefully the Roomba 960 will be better.

I bought this for my 1 bedroom apartment for myself and my 2 cats. It does a great job of picking up hair and anything else on the floor. It will actually leave lines in your carpet like it was just professionally cleaned. The only downside is I had this a month and it had to be sent into Samsung to be fixed because it wouldn’t leave the dock anymore. Samsung did a great job of repairing it and sending it right back, but I did go without it for about 7 days. Regardless I would still recommend especially if you have pets!

This is a quality vacuum at a fairly reasonable price. As best I can tell from the debris container, it is picking up a lot of stuff off of the floors. It has 3 power levels to clean at and it's not too loud. My only con is that the battery life is just so-so. I can get an average of 45 minutes of actual cleaning time before the 7070 has to return to it's base to recharge before resuming it's cleaning. All in all, I'm glad we bought it and would buy it again.

I've had the product for about 2 weeks now and it's been working great so far. Not too noisy and has great suction power.

I purchased the Samsung Powerbot R7070 based on a Best Buy Salesman's recommendation. We have large rooms with a lot of furniture and several pets. We have now used the unit for about a month. The unit has several problems including 1) it does not navigate around furniture very well missing large areas of the floor, 2) it does not clean within 2-3 inches of an edge, 3) it will often clean one area of the floor several times and totally miss other areas, 4) it has great difficulty finding the home station to recharge, 5) if the unit runs out of power before finishing and you restart it, it simply starts over again at the beginning, and 6) I was told that the unit could be directed with a remote to an area for spot cleaning but you need a special remote for this option, which in not supplied. I am sure that if you have a room with little or no furniture, the system will do fine (except for edges), but I paid $550 for the Powerbot and it is definitely not worth the price. I can only hope that Samsung will develop new software to correct its major flaws. There are a few good features, including three power levels, good suction, and a large receptacle that is easy to remove and clean.

Have had the robot for a couple of months now and we're very pleased with it. Does a nice job and has easy cleanup.

I did a lot of research before I bought this particular one and it was well worth my time. It works great and does an awesome job. Seems like it learns more and more and gets the job done faster every day. Only had a couple times its got hung up but that was my fault for not picking something up. But works very well

I have been a user of another top name brand for several years, had issues and learned to fix them. I bought their latest top robot and had to return two of them in a short time. That is when I chose to go with the Samsung R7070. It is great and has three different vacuum levels as well as edge cleaning. I operate from my phone or the remote that came with it. It solves most problems it gets on a cleaning path by itself. Over time I expect the software to improve even more.

We have a Neato and an iRobot and the Neato finally died so we tried this because the newest iRobot was out of stock. Works well, picks up a lot in carpets and on floors and is fast. The only drawback is that it is very haphazard in the way it cleans rooms. The iRobot follows patterns. This one seems to go all over the place but in the end it does clean everything. I rate it a 4 due to it being slightly more expensive than the iRobot with what I would consider the same performance.

I had a Neato xv21 for 3 1/2 years that ran everyday without any problems. Still runs, but the LCD went out. So I tried a new Neato D80. Joke After 4 of them only lasting 4weeks before having software problems, I decided on this vacuum. It works great. Has a better pattern than the Neato, can be remote controlled or by app, I have two abs and it picks up just as much as the Neato, well actually more because it works. Easy to clean, runs quieter.

I've been using another robot vacuum cleaner brand for years, but I kept reading very good things about this Samsung model, so I decided to give it a try. I've got two medium hair dogs that shed a lot (especially in the transition months) and it is a mostly carpeted floor. First things first, this robot works very well. It gives the OCD satisfying look by methodically cleaning in a zig-zag pattern. I run it (at least) every other day, and every time, the dust bin has debris inside. However, the best feature is the edge cleaning, which is mind blowing; I never knew my edges were clogged with hair. Second- the integration of SmartThings is nice, but I wish it was more informative. It's nice to see the history of where/how it cleaned, but the only time I get a notification is when there's an issue (like when it gets hung up on a rug, or hanging off a step) Third- it's loud. It sounds like a vacuum. And that's on "normal" suction power. Fourth, and most concerning- it seems like the unit is getting "dumber" as time goes on. Now it gets lost when it needs to go home (either to recharge and clean or it is finished) a good 50% of the time. Or, for some reason, it forgets a room. Or just runs for 15 minutes goes home. <-- Hence the reason I wish there were more notifications through the app. Overall, it's a great product, and I can't compare it to one of the newer, "other brand" smart cleaners that map the floor, but for the time being, I'm happy with this purchase.

I love this robot vacuum. It is absolutely awesome. It does a great job of cleaning. I live with four cats, and it is amazing what a great job the robot does picking up cat hair. I use it on my wall-to-wall carpet and my wood floors, and it does a great job every time.

This vacuum makes my daily life a lot easier. With two dogs, one of which is a lab and sheds a lot, running the vacuum daily over our tile and carpet picks up most of the visible hair and gives the floor a clean look. Some days the vacuum fills up too quickly and stops. My only request would be to add a dumping station so it could keep going even after it has filled the first time.
