It does what its supposed to do, except you cabinets or furniture will redirect the up and down pattern leaving a path that won't get vacuumed. Maybe a random path may have been a better choice.

This sucks. No really....this vacuum is as great as advertised!

I'm very pleased with this vacuum. It works great. I have to say that it was that setting it up on our smart home system was a challenge though. They could make this a little more user friendly.

We seem to be vacuuming all the time. We live in a house that has dark wood floors, we have a black lab, and the area is very dusty so the floors constantly need cleaning (and we have 3 boys). My husband and I decided to try an automatic vacuum to see if it would cut down on the amount of times that we had to do it. My mother has a cheat robot vacuum that just bounces around the house and never seems to clean thoroughly so we were very skeptical. The Best Buy salesman walked us through all of the different models. We really did not want to spend a lot of money and we decided to go with the Samsung because it was half off at $250. We could not be more thrilled. It runs every day and seems to have memorized the house. It cleans carpets and hard woods no problem. We set it up so that it runs while we are at work and school so that we come home to a clean floor. It is amazing! Well worth it.

This robot vacuums better than any Roomba we have owned. With that being said, We cannot use it on the main floor of my house because of the shag throw rugs. It gets hung up and shuts down.

There are a few things I have an issue with for the Samsung powerbots. There are so many different models it is hard to know exactly what you are getting in one versus the other, to me it is not clear on the packaging. Setting it up was not as easy as I hoped. The app crashed multiple times and it didn't want to connect to my wifi. Once I got it set up it worked well for a bit...then it started making a large unruly noise. Called support and he agreed it's not supposed to sound like that. It is now off for warranty repair. I hope it works well when I get it back as I really did enjoy this thing running around the house. Sucks up dirt and debris great for its size. If you have pets you may find yourself emptying the bin rather often. Avoids obstacles decently. I imagine as good as any other on the market. If it gets repaired and working again I would of gave it four stars and recommended it. Till then it will remain a two and no.

It's amazing how this robot moves through the rooms cleaning even the corners. Great buy!

It works good. Sometimes it get's lost and stuck but so far our floors get cleaned.

Already 1 year with this and still loving it. You don't need to keep buying replacement parts like with other robots (that's probably the main reason for why I choose this model), cleaning/removing parts is easy and programming is also good. My house is small and bumps with a lot of stuff but still has made its way to keep his way as clean as possible. I have not feel significant battery drain and its used for 30 mins (max power) 5 days per week. CONS: I use this on a first floor, I tried on a second floor but it seems it could fall on the stairs, the only extra thing you may need to buy are some strips to mark boundaries and avoid fallings.

Great cleaning of the floors. Like the edge cleaner.

Did a great job in my smalller rooms but did have some trouble getting around but fit perfectly under my coffee table.

It is a luxury to have this gadget going around the house vacuuming. I have to run it twice a day to keep up with the high traffic areas and 4 animals in house. I love it! The animals are fascinated by it. They aren't scared of it. My golden retriever is scared of the upright vacuum but is fine with the POWERbot. This device gets in corners, around the furniture. It gets under the chairs, table and bed.

After owning the Sam song power bought for a couple months now I’ve gotten a good idea of how well it works. My house consist of all laminate flooring and a couple area rugs. The vacuum itself performs well on both services. It’s edge detection also seems to work well as it does not run off the steps as other similar equipment has in the past. I will say however that I’m not confident in how the edge Cleaning perform. Now in My Home I have a baseboard with quarter round. The power bought does not seem to like the quarter round as it tends to drive up on it and as it does it’s at cleaning keep running up on it instead of just cleaning beside it. Other robotic vacuums that I’ve had in the past have not had an issue with this but they were around in design versus a flat edge like the Samsung. Other than that one nuisance it seems to perform as expected. It does take up to Bree very well and the filter seems to filter out a lot of dust and particles. Inshore I would recommend this to just about anyone. The only exception may be is if your home consist of quarter round trim you may want to consider a different robotic vacuum.

Works great and I have a cat and dog. Moves around easily over carpet to wood to tile.

I was surprised how well it does clean. I am still trying to figure out how the mapping part of it is supposed to work, that part is very confusing. The app that I downloaded doesn't have anything in it about mapping out the house, but the salesman told me this model does that, that's why it has the camera. I'm sure I'll figure it out, I just haven't had a lot of time to play with it yet.

I'm quite impressed with this thing. yeah it's not perfect but it's a robot, what do you expect? However I've seen this thing do some maneuvers in order to get to certain areas to clean that I was thoroughly impressed with. We have this table with U-shaped legs made of thin tubular metal, when the robot approached from the side with the bottom of one of the legs in it's path, it tried to go over forwards and when that didn't work it turned around and backed over the leg with ease using the larger rear wheels. It proceeded to run in circles vacuuming the floor under the table then managed to get out somehow (I lost interest by that point). By after that, I walked away knowing I never had to watch that thing again and have confidence it'll at least vacuum about 75% of my house. not bad. only gripe would be the dust container is way too small.
