My Vacuum robot rocks, it is powerful and quiet, goes everywhere and cleans very nicely. It is easy to clean.

The debris canister is small and needs to be emptied often

I am very satisfied with my robot vacuum. We have two pets and this one is doing a very good work. Is easy to clean up. The only issue I noticed is some times it get lost returning to the base. Yes I do recommend.

So I purchase my Samsung PowerBot in Jan 2018. When I first got it, I was in love. Not only did I like the way the bot looked but it worked well. Unfortunately, I was only able to use this bot one time before it died and never turned on again. I have contacted warranty customer service and they quickly sent out a new charging base but the bot still wouldn’t charge. Contacted them again and they scheduled my bot for repair with no problem. Right now I am still waiting on my bot to get back from the servicing company. *fingers crossed!!!***. OVERALL: The one time I used the bot was great, customer service is very polite and helpful. So I gave this product four stars, only because I was able to use it one time then it broke.

It runs every day at 2pm. I come home to a clean floor each afternoon and it has all but eliminated the need to run my regular vacuum. I now get It out every few weeks as opposed to a few times a week.

Really happy with the purchase. It was really plug and play. I was skeptical about it really knowing how to go back home to the charging dock but it worked out perfectly. Now I just turn it on right when I’m leaving for work and I come home and it’s back in the dock. Only thing is wires on the floor make sure there are no wires on the floor and your good. Just like a regular vacuum you wouldn’t want it to eat your wires.

My Powerbot was working well and doing what its suppose to very well, however for some reason it just stopped charging one day. I thought it was debris or maybe the charger got unpludgged somehow, but thats not the case. Not sure if the battery is just bad or the whole unit is broken. I've had it for about 9 months now, didn't give extensive use, so not sure if i just got a bad unit or they are like this. Its a bit gimmicky but it does do the job. Still doesn't replace a handheld vacuum for sofas and other tight areas.

I was pretty sckepital of the robot vacuumes but this had me amazed of the suction power and what I found on my floors after I just vacuumed with the up right. Don’t think twice.

I think it is like having a puppy. I can not figure out where it is going to go next. I was also a bit disappointed about the required space around the docking station. It appears the need to go along the grain of the wood floor or a fairly long straight ahead of docking station is important.

Sometimes it gets lost or stuck under the table/chair and is unable to find its way back to the charger. Other than that works well in keeping the floors cleaned.

This robot scans the room to determine how to vacuum. Instead of bouncing around and getting random lines on your floor, this vacuum leaves nice clean lines for a recently-cleaned look. It does run out of battery faster than I expected, and sometimes can't find its way back to its dock. But this has been fun for my kids, who have named it and say he gets drunk when he's low on battery, just like Baymax.

For a robotic vacuum, the actual vacuuming is quite good - and I have had one since Roomba 1.0. The mapping seems questionable and I have doubts it actually "learns" anything as it appears to navigate my house each time as if it's the first. But that I can live with...it's the constant errors/issues that makes this less than ideal. In over 20 uses it has never finished without requiring intervention - with bumper errors, jam errors , tilt errors etc happening with such frequency that I always have to find the device and manually restart it as many as 4 or more times. If the error was a jam or clogged item I would understand but 9/10 times there is no discernible issue. Hopefully a software/firmware update can address this - at least allowing me to remotely resume the cycle would be a major improvement.

I've owned an iRobot Roomba 900-series robot vacuum and the Samsung is quieter than the Roomba but it suffers from the shortfalls as the Roomba. The collection tray fills up quick (although this one seems to be bigger than the Roomba), the brush gets clogged with hair and debris quickly, it stops for no apparent reason with phantom problems and the battery doesn't last very long. Also this model doesn't come with sensors to stop it from going down stairs, into other rooms, etc. However, I got it for free with a Samsung appliance purchase so I can't complain too much. If I spent money on this I would be disappointed. I imagine if I scheduled this thing (and same with the Roomba) to run while I was gone I would come home to a half vacuumed room and it would be stopped with some sort of issue.

I love this little robot. It's quiet, efficient, and powerful. It picks up all of the hair, dirt, and debris than my old robot vacuum missed.

I got this free with a purchase with a refrigerator. It is interesting how the robot figures where to vacuum. It took a little over an hour to do half my downstairs. You need to move everything to get the robot to get a good pattern. The battery lasts a little over an hour.

Picks up well, I love that it doesn't bang into things. On the second run, it ran out of battery before returning to it's base. But otherwise, no issues.

Now this is what a power vacuum should be. I picked it up this afternoon and if it works as easy as it was to snap together, I will be a happy convert.

This is a good sweeper and gets to hard to reach places. Is quiet and picks up dirt on carpet effectively. Am pleased with this purchase.

I love my new robotic vacuum, I upgraded from a Bissell. I love the fact that it doesn’t bump hard into furniture/walls like my old one. The fact that you can control it within the app is awesome. Only problem is that it has a small compartment for trash.

The powerbot R7040 works well and is easy to use. Also easy to clean. However it does not give you a map of where it cleans as it claims.
