For 4k video, you will want to look into at least a V60. Would recommend for doing stills.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Testing the card with CrystalDiskMark on an i7 laptop with a USB 3.0 card reader in a USB 3.0 port, I get 96.16 MB/s for sequential reads and 86.17 MB/s for sequential writes. I'm giving it 3 stars because that's not bad, considering the low price, and it is well above V30 specs, but it is obviously FAR below the claimed speeds. A faster computer under ideal conditions might do somewhat better than my test, but it's impossible for me to believe it could be that much better, so I have to conclude that it's just false advertising. If you really need the speed, expect that a card that can really do those speeds will be more expensive. But this card is quite adequate for high-bitrate 4K video,

This model features speeds up to 180MB/s Read and 130MB/s Write with Class 10 and U3 compatibility. While there may be some variations in speed due to varying conditions, the speed you are getting with your card may indicate some other issue.
