I upgraded my Q990B to the F and am pleased. The newer firmware and dual speaker subwoofer are nice. The sub is really small but as powerful as the previously used ported subs.

The Samsung Q-Series HW-Q990F is an incredible soundbar setup that really brings the theater experience home. With its 11.1.4 channels, subwoofer, and rear speakers, the sound feels huge and fully immersive—especially with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support. The bass is deep, dialogue is crystal clear, and it adjusts nicely depending on what you’re watching. I also love how easy it is to use with Alexa, AirPlay, and HDMI eARC. If you want powerful, room-filling sound without the hassle of a full receiver and wired speakers, this system is hard to beat.

This soundbar is the best one on the market and has sound quality far beyond any other on the market. The Synchrony between the TV and the soundbar are a real treat for the sound.

I truly believe sound can resonate/tap into our emotions and feelings so I have been on a search for the best sound system that would allow me to trully experience in an immersive way the sounds that I listen to. Even though i am long time fan of Samsung technology and engineering when it comes to something like a speaker system. I didn't want to compromise just because of the brain. Luckily out of the systems i have tried, the Samsung Q990F came on top and is by far the best. This system delivers a clean and esthetic look, easy setup and moreover is compatible with most devices and brands. More importantly, it delivers what it claims to do, a clean and crisp DolbyAtmos suround sound with an unmatched bass coming from the subwoofer that would make your house feel like it is part of the movie you're watching or music you're listening to. For the price, there's nothing better out there than the Samsung Q990F!

Though it took a little longer than hoped to get rear speakers to sync (turns out must be in direct line of sight), once all speakers were connected, I have been thrilled with the performance and sound of the HW-Q990F soundbar! It replaced a 19 year old system with all separate components wired to an excellent Yamaha receiver. I wanted wireless rear speakers, and this was the most elegant solution. Only slight quibble is that the woofer doesn't boom the bass like my (twice as large) older one did, but it does fit with the overall sound extremely well. Turned it up to 50% once with some music, my wife yelled from 3 rooms away it was too loud! Overall, I can highly recommend this system to anyone!

Sound bar sounds great. Truly wireless rear speakers. Only complaint I have is not being able to disable the “Smart assistant”

I have only had my speaker set since August 1, 2025, just a little less than a month, but these speakers have changed my life! The sound is amazing. I have always enjoyed a theater experience as far as sound goes, but lacked the ability to really hear the voices together with the experience. Now I can!! I can't review anything about shipping because I picked up my speakers from Best Buy. The speakers were easy to set up. Highly recommend!

It’s like having your own personal movie theater. Sound is amazing. Only at sound level 15 to 20 is strong with no static-like bass. It’s just perfect.

I love the surround sound system, so clear, cinema like, makes our movie time very enjoyable. Setting up so easy - easy to use the apps - Alexa compatible. Perfect with my 4k Samsung TV!! Don’t really have to go to the movie anymore. 1st movie to try it out - TopGun! Problem with delivery, 2 days delay, 2 FedEx guy didn’t know how to buzz in to apartment (even with clear instructions) only left 2 notes, had to chase the truck & drag the heavy box 1 block (glad it has thick box), they didn’t even offer to drop it at my bldg.

Easy system to set up and the sound is terrific! I’ve connected everything using Blue Tooth and it was very easy. I like the compact woofer and while I was worried about the size, I still get a big bass sound from it. It’s not as booming as my last woofer but the trade off of having my sound system disappear into the room and still have a quality bass sound was worth it. I would buy the product again and recommend it. Despite buying it on sale and saving $700, the system was still on the pricey side at $1300.

The Samsung soundbar arrived undamaged and two days early. It was easy to install and came with a helpful guide for setup. The sound quality is great and I like the wireless features of the speaker. The balance of the surround system helps with the clarity of the sound and overall background effects. I also like having the ability to use my phone app to set up and control the features. Overall, the system has exceeded my expectations.
