This has been an impressive speaker purchase. As a professional musician I like to think I have a good ear for excellent sound quality and this speaker delivers. The radiant, 360 degree design is far more than a gimmick and it is truly remarkable to listen to. Regardless of where this product is placed, sound is true and crisp. The natural EQ is as close to flat as I've heard among its peers, and reproduction is authentic regardless of genre. Wifi networking works great with Spotify Connect and Apple laptops/phones. Strangely, I have had some minor difficulty with using the WiFi music services from my Galaxy Note 5, but bluetooth and Spotify Connect works great from my device. This would have been a 5 star review, but Samsung still has some tweaking to do with their software to get it to the ease-of-use level of the Sonos interface. I'll be keeping this speaker and adding an R3 and R5 to the multiroom network when they are released.

I started with one and it was sold to me as a Bluetooth speaker with WiFi capabilities that could expand it to as many speakers as I could want. I wanted a great sound and my expectations were very high. THIS EXCEEDED ALL OF THEM! I loved how I couldn't get to max volume. What I mean by this is saying that it's powerful enough to fill my entire home with sound and to not distort at any volume. I could not emphasize enough how amazing this speaker is. Before writing this review I have now purchased two total and I pair them together using the app which is so simple and have it do a right and left sound for me. The app is the only thing I would say gets annoying. If you don't task kill the app after your done using the speakers it will kill your devices charge. First day I used the app it was 46% of my battery drain on my phone and I used the app for 10 minutes while I was getting ready for work. Besides that you should buy these speakers I'm gonna end up picking up a couple to put in my office and bedroom.

Bought this instead of a sound bar and haven't regretted it for a moment! Easily connects and provides superb sound from my TV, but also works beautifully playing music from my smartphone or laptop. Bluetooth compatibility is an outstanding feature. Even better, it's light enough to move around from room to room when I choose.

Returned to store. High hopes turned to big disappointment. Purchased with Samsung 4k Ultra TV and Soundbar. In the store I liked the sleek, innovative design. Bought it to be the rear channels for my TV sound system with a bonus of streaming music. I don't care what the manual says.. the Radiant 360 was impossible to set up as an integrated rear channel. First, you must download the Multiroom App. (yes, no other way) The App needs serious improvement. The directions are not clear and adding speakers to the app is confusing. Once I got past that I started using the App to assign the speaker placement for the TV sound system. We tried every configuration possible and NEVER did the Samsung Soundbar and the Radiant360 work together as an integrated system. I really wanted this thing to work and spent several days systematically trying every option. I considered keeping it just to stream music, but, again that involved using the painful App. As a stand alone speaker the sound is okay. Price is too much for just okay sound and limited function. Best part of this purchase was BestBuy's customer service and return policy.

Gorgeous sound when streaming music, but difficult to use as home theater. It CAN be done (contrary to what some might tell you-- we got conflicting info from Samsung, Geek Squad, and the Best Buy salesperson. To their credit, the Geek Squad guys figured it out, and did get the Samsung R7s to go into surround sound mode when grouped with the samsung sound bar at our home on their second trip here), but the rear channels are rather soft, even turned all the way up. We were not able to achieve the big booming surround sound that you would expect for watching an action movie, or something with lots of effects. If you are planning on only streaming music, the R7s are great for that, and have a nice, aesthetic appearance. If you also want to use them for home theater, then do what we did-- go with Sonos. We are much happier.

This speakers has great base and clear sound. It's portable, but you have to be near an outlet. The Bluetooth and wifi connections are strong; it has never skipped. The only thing that bothers me is that every now and then you have to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in to get it to work. I don't know why that is, but that doesn't happen often.

The sound is great and crisp. Only complaint is sometimes it cannot be found on my internet and I have to reintall it. The blue tooth works fine.

We heard the speakers in the store and they sounded great. so we decided to buy one for our new 65" curved screen Samsung and took the unit home. The Bluetooth hooked up very easily and I thought that everything would be perfect. The sound did not sound good at all and the sound was very tinny with very little bass. We moved the speaker all around the living room and it sounded nice but it was no where near the quality of the showroom. It would be perfect if you were listening to talk shows all day but that would be the only use for this speaker. The wife loved the speaker and we decided to buy another one and place them around the room. After buying the second one it would not connect and Samsung online told us we needed a hub. We bought a hub and still the two of them would not connect together. After reading the manual and talking to Samsung tech support for over an hour they finally found out that you cannot hook up two speakers at the same time with a TV. These speakers are a great idea but are not as good as our old Bose system. After returning the speakers we found that the speaker display at the store was also hooked up to sound bar and that was where the bass came from. I would not recommend these speakers to anyone for any use.

This speaker was a pleasant surprise. It is very easy to set up and pair with TV or phone. I bought it with the hope that it could be used as an addition to a Samsung sound bar, sadly that isn't the case. I haven't been able to figure out how to get them to work together.

After reading some of the reviews previously I was worried about the bluetooth connectivity, which was the main reason I wanted a home speaker. I have not had one single issue with it and it connects to all of my bluetooth devices easily. The app is helpful and nice to have. The sound is incredible and the best of the Samsung products we listened to. The look is quite distinct and what really sold us on it after hearing the sound. I would without a doubt recommend this product.

This speaker blew me away when I first heard it it is the mos crisp sound there is and portable sounds great no matter ware you use it....

This speaker is pretty neat and sounds clean. The multiroom Samsung app comes preloaded with plenty stations, e.g. pandora, spotify, amazon music, AND MORE! I would give it 5 stars except it does not sync with Itunes for apple users. Hopefully that is in the works for upcoming updates to the app.

Awesome speaker and surround sound. Love this speaker. Easy to use

Love the sleek design of these speakers. For their size, it's surprising how loud they are. Also like the option of pairing multiple speakers together for more of an all-around sound throughout my home. Only downside is that they do not have an AUX hookup are intended for music only.

Great sounding speaker but the Samsung app required to connect did not work with my s6 edge plus. After several calls to samsung support and visiting the Samsung rep they could not resolve. Bluethooth outside the app did work but my main purpose was multi speaker connect over wifi. I returned product and disappointed that two samsung products (phone/speaker) are not compatible.

Item does what is advertised but the price is very high. Consider price and item before purchase. Follow item until price drops - that was and is my biggest concern the item is expensive unless you gotta have it.

Great sound, easy to setup and comes on when the tv is turned on.

This speaker has great sound. I originally purchased two as part of my surround sound system. They would connect to my Samsung TV no problem, but the Samsung app for controlling all the speakers and creating the surround sound system SUCKED! I altimately returned my Samsung soundbar and the two R7's because of the hackie app.

It was easy to install and we have discussed getting another one. The sound is amazing no matter what we have on. Whether it be music, television or a movie. Can't wait until next summer when we can take it out on the deck.

Really awesome speaker! It is a great quality sounding speaker! I was always a BOSE guy. But after hearing this bad boys I was surprisingly shock at the quality of these speakers. Really cool "rear speaker" technology.
