Similar to other stuff I've had from Samsung. If you don't mind that then you will probably like the watch, it was pretty comfortable and the screen was pretty nice. Just annoyed with companies requiring unnecessary permissions.

Does not live up to hype

The SO2 readings do not work 75% of the time, the watch constantly wants you to move the position on your wrist. I have not figured out how to get a BP reading even with the owners manual (not covered). Overall, makes the Garmin watch i replaced look great except for the display quality. Bottom line is DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS WATCH.

Simpler, longer battery life and a lot more reliable, The Galaxy Watch 5 requires daily charging and constant battery life checking. Turns off on its own, with no warning of low battery. If used to track steps, workouts, texts, or communication, the battery runs out even faster, plus additional costs to use wi-fi. This is a heavy timepiece. A new Fitbit would have been sufficient for my needs.

I previously had a Fitbit and decided to make the switch to a "smart" watch. This is everything I had in the Fitbit and then some. The sunken bezel is great as I don't have to worry about hitting it and causing damage. So many features to setup that it did take some time getting used to.

You get about a day and half after a full charge and it charges up real quick. There are a lot of blotwares that come from the Samsung environment which you'll barely use and can't remve either. Also some features only work on Samsung only so you'll loose perks like EKG monitor without a samsung phone
