Problems near end of warranty & dead a week after!

Entire time streaming Netflix was hit & miss. Near the end of the warranty Blu-Ray, DVD & streaming all started acting up but still worked. 1 week after the warranty expired: DEAD!! Boo, Samsung! This is the worst Samsung product I've ever owned.

Nothing but trouble after 1 year

The built in wi-fi is non existant. When I try to connect to Netflix, I get a message to connect the network card. It's internal. The warranty is out by 2 months. I had a problem with it about a month and a half ago, but after messing around with it, got it to work once. No internet connection since then. Prior to that, every time I turned it on, it wanted to do updates that took forever. If I could rate it with zero stars, I would.

Do not buy this !
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this Blue ray player about 7 months ago and we had to turned it back to the store because it stop working, should I say that is been "Fixed " 4 times (all form the same problem, no picture) you can hear the sound but have no picture, it buffer all the time when u try to see movies on netflix. stay away, it's a piece of yunk and bestbuy wont do much for you if you have any problem with it.

The dvd grumbles when you fast forward, pause or any command. Please google other reviews for this brand its all bad when trying to use internet features

DON’T BUY IT!

Shortly after the warranty expired the internet capability used for watching Netflix quit working. It buffered a lot before it broke-down. That means it would stop in the middle of a show, wait for the signal to download, then resume playing. It’s replacement does not buffer

DON't Buy This!!

This player wouldn't access the internet and has also stopped playing new release movies after Samsung updated their firmware. While I was in the store, there were four other customers in line with the same problems!! Samsung quality seems to have taken a huge dip. And good luck getting an american on the phone when you call for help!! DON'T BUY SAMSUNG BLU-RAY PLAYERS!!!

This is the worst Samsung product we've bought.

Well, after two months of problems with buffering and many calls to our AT&T internet carrier, and purchase of a new router, we figured out it's the Blue Ray that has very limited connectivity. It buffers so often it's hard to watch a movie. We should've checked review first and should'nt have relied on the Samsung name.

Disappointed in Samsungs customer service!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research before buying this unit BD D5700, it had great reviews, few negatives. The problem with review writers is that they write within days, or weeks upon receiving the product, when they should really wait a few months. Anyway, since the last update from Samsung on July twenty forth (24) 2011 the player no longer will play Nexflix. If you search the player model number along with Netflix problems you will find many owners experiencing the same problems, with no help and results from Samsung. The player was great until that event, I and many others are waiting for it to be corrected by Samsung.
