I received this case for free as part of a promotion when purchasing my Galaxy S8+. The color is nice and the protection is good. It is very glossy, so finger prints everywhere. I am not a fan of flipping it open, especially when taking pictures, so I probably wont use it much. Probably wouldn't have bought it if I didnt get it for free. It's a bit pricey.

This case is just what I was looking for. I had one on order but didn't feel comfortable not having any protection around the phone. I had some coupons from a previous purchase so I used that to get the price down some. A few days ago I saw them advertised on my facebook feed for about half what I paid even after the coupons. My advice - don't buy your case from Best Buy.

This is the second one I've had. My first one's plastic on the front cover started to come off after about a year just like this one so I got rid of it. Then I dropped my phone and immediately bought a new one to protect what didn't crack. It protects the phone wonderfully. The problem is the material seems cheap so it will start to fall apart after a year or so after fairly regular use. It does it's job, but starts to look like hell after awhile.

Pretty case and matches my blue phone nicely. I did however drop the phone and the front of the case got scratched. The phone remained protected. The front now has a few deep scratches from the fall but it's better the case than the phone.

This case is very good at both protecting my phone but saving battery life. I like to have my AOD on and this cover allows for that without draining the battery as quickly withoutit. The kickstand feature is also genius. The only con is the ergonomics while opening and unlocking. Due to the position of the cover hinge and the phone's fingerprint scanner, I have to always use my other hand to unlock. While frustrating at times, its not a dealbreaker. Otherwise I am thrilled with this device especially at the deal of the day price!

Some pros and cons to this, but it was free with the phone purchase. Nice general protection... probably best for a purse or inside pocket user. I'm not so sure it will take a real corner or edge impact. So far, i was able to put a zags tempered glass screen protector on the s8+ and it is staying on. Its kinda awkward to deal with the fold back cover to take pics. The phone buttons you can push through the case cover, but you need to look at the case to see what you are pushing. Also nothing keeps the cover closed real well on the phone (like a magnet or clasp).

Accustomed to the flip covers of the S5, S6 and S7 models, I doubted (and much) if I should buy it, since it did not have a transparent window like the previous versions. However, I found in this model a very good option and I am glad with the purchase. Pros: have the possibility to use the kickstand to be able to use a mouse or keyboard (obviously on bluetooth connection with S8+). Cons: The main cover will ruin and scratch very quickly, even if you are too carefull. Samsung should improve that material.

I purchased this item because I liked the color. The only thing about this case is it scratches up quick.

This offers decent scratch protection for my S8+. I haven't dropped it yet, nor do I intend to but I if you fumble your phone a lot you really should get a case with better corner protection. Otherwise the always on cover and the ability to answer and end calls through the front is nice since I don't have to dirty my screen when I put my oily face on it. The case can get scratched since it's plastic, but let's be realistic, that why we use a case.

This is one of the better flip covers I have used on a phone. I lover that Samsung finally implemented the ability to actually use it as a stand case to use in Landscape mode to watch videos. None of the previous Samsung OEM cases had the ability. Sure, there are tons of other third party cases that do this, which I have also tried, but none of which has the fit and finish of the Samsung made one. I may buy another one in the Silver color too.

This is my second cover for my Galaxy S8+. The first one, same type, only lasted a year. So, something to note is that unlike the Otterbox covers that are made of durable plastic, these just won't last as long. Also, screens can crack even with this cover since it's not sturdy like an Otterbox. That being noted, the good stuff outweighs the bad. I'll treat this cover as if it wasn't a cover but a fragile screen so maybe it will last longer. If you get a thicker, sturdier cover, you won't be able to wirelessly recharge your phone. This cover allows me to keep the cover on and wirelessly recharge. This cover also has cool functions like being see through when the phone wakes up. If you get a call, the screen will show up through the cover and you can accept or decline without even opening the cover! If you hit the side power button, the date, time, % power left and some alerts will be displayed (or whatever you set your phone to show out of Samsung's choices). And finally, the front cover, when the phone is sleeping, is actually clear and reflective enough to be a mirror. I liked this cover enough to buy another one when the reflective sheet on the front of my first one started peeling off. I removed it, thinking it wouldn't matter, but then the front started falling apart. Had I known that, I'd have kept tamping down the sheeting.

I like that you can use this as a stand, but why oh why does the always on screen revert to that ridiculously odd time format where the hours are on top and the minutes are on the bottom. It looks more like a date than time. I changed the format on the always on screen, but when you close the flip, it reverts back to that crazy format. Otherwise, it is nice.

This cover is nice because the inner layer of the cover is soft so it shouldn't scratch the screen. Its also nice because you can prop it up as a stand to watch videos. My only grip is the bottom area where your ports are is exposed. This case is more style and functionality over protection so bear that in mind when looking to purchase.

I bought this cover at the recommendation of my Best Buy sales rep, who was excellent. I usually buy covers online because I like the selection better but the rep described the benefits of this one, plus I liked the color. It took me a while to figure out how to get my AOD to work with it, but it does. Two reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: first, I only have one option for the AOD display and I hate the clock. I always read it as a date first for some reason. Second, and much bigger, is that even though I can answer the phone with the cover closed, when I speak, the other person can't hear me. Being able to talk on the phone without opening the cover would be a major benefit if it worked, but it doesn't. However, if this isn't a critical issue for you, I would still recommend the case. It saves you from having to by a screen protector without sacrificing AOD and it looks sharp.

Good case which shows time thru cover. Case is not as protective as those with extra padding. So if you drop your phone a lot, check out another case.

The case looks really good, and the materials look premium. Back soft-touch material feels good in the hand when you hold it. Front plastic is not very scratch resistant but holds up to daily abuse (in my pocket or in my bag pocket with coins, pens, keys etc.) pretty well. There's a silicone lining in the front plastic that touches your phone screen which makes it secure and not feel flimsy when it's closed, also this protects your screen from scratches from repeatedly opening and closing the cover. Notifications function pretty well when the flap is closed and the AOD is visible without being too bright especially when it's propped up to a wireless charging stand facing you in bed. Wireless charging works really well with this case on, you just have to position it properly at the very center. (I use an OEM wireless fast-charger from samsung) Overall good product. -1 star for possible improvement, maybe use gorilla glass or a more scratch-resistant material in front.
