Q: Can you still use a wireless charger while the phone is in the case?
A: Yes, I use it on the Samsung wireless fast charger pad.
Q: Does it have it's own battery or does it run off the phones battery
A: It does not use a battery at all. The cover is translucent and just passed the phone screen through.
Q: does this case have drop protection?
A: Some drop protection, but not as mush as thick padded case. Really like see thru cover and ability to answer phone without opening cover.
Q: can you see through the case to the phone's screen
A: Yes, but it only displays a clock and notifications when closed. Even when you press the power button, you won't see your lockscreen or homescreen, just the AOD. There's a very thin magnet on the cover that triggers a sensor in the phone, telling it to display limited info when the flap is closed. You cannot wake your phone up by touching anywhere on the cover though, you'd have to open it to operate. Notification LED is still visible when the flap is closed, makes it pretty convenient.
