    Be Aware this item item does not work with Smartthings hub as indicated. Only with the special ADT version of Smartthings hub. Which you are not going to buy if you already have a hub

    You definitely need a ADT security hub even though it doesn’t say that anywhere on here. Don’t buy it for more than $50, wait for a sale. Got mine for $20.

    I had to return as it requires an ADT hub and it isn't compatible with my ADT IQ Panel. I wish they could have enabled it to work as standalone.

    Although this is a SmartThings product, it does not state that it will only work with a smartthings adt hub. A zwave device should technically work with any zwave let alone a SmartThings hub but I guess they had locked it.
