Connects to the home wifi network and remains connected without any issues. The only issue is that it does not recognize the Samsung HD camera

We looked and looked for for a decent security system that wasn't too expensive and we found this one bc it was on sale. I'm so glad we did it's amazing and easy to use. You can set it up so when your phones leave or arrive the system will turn on or off. The only problem I have is there is no alarm that sounds. That is another piece you have to buy separately.

Great starter unit. Use door contacts and one on my garage door. Motion sensor works well. Easy to set up. Will add to it in the future.

Works Great. Works with Harmony and Alexa. I also control my front door and thermostats with it. Oh and 8 lights in my house.

I love my new Samsung SmartThings setup. I can monitor activities at my home while at my job location. The notifications can get a little ignoring, but I should turn that setting back to off (the default).

We love our SmartThings system. This was a good set to buy to start and give usable functionality out of the box. We've since connected Arlo, Nest, and Google Home to our system. With the open source smart apps, the community can develop new functionality. Our lights are setup to come in when cameras sense motion at night, turn on when we get in the garage, and turn off when we leave. They also come on automatically if we get up at night and turn off behind us. No more fumbling for the switch.

Didn't want security system that comes with a contract, I can monitor it myself. You can get alerts on your phone if movement is detected.

Not hard to set up. Have it working to automate the lights so far. Works great with Alexa. Can't wait to add more.

I’ve installed several SmartThings hubs for friends and family with orders pending. For Mom, who lives 300 miles away , it is a safety net for her to know that her kids can monitor her.

When I say that this is changing the way I live, I really mean it. After purchasing this I have coupled it with led lights, my door lock, and with the added capability of knowing that my home is secure really gives me piece of mind. There are so many devices and apps that work with this unit. The reason I chose it is due to the fact I am not stuck in one platform, Zigbee, ZWave, and wifi devices means that I can connect to almost anything.

This is a great way to protect your property without a monthly fee. Easy set up and works with many brands.

I'm still exploring what can be done with this kit, but the possibilities are nearly endless. It has integrated seamlessly with my lights, blinds, and other SmartThings devices.

Product is still new and up comeing it has a lot of potential with all the devices you can hook up to it

Setup is fairly simple.(iOS) Pairing devices to the hub is also simple. Seems to work great except for every so often the open sensors do not trip until they are closed again. I'd rather deal with a false alarm than no alarm, but for what this system cost compared to what it does, it's a no brainer.

Everything was easy and fast to set up. Love all the features and options it has.. Highly recommend!

Easy to use and set up smart home monitoring kit. Comes with all the basics to get your started

I purchased this solely to test it out and review it. Set up was straight forward as long as you can run your phone. Bridge did disappear after my wife tried to add her to the system. Reset unit and then worked. Does have a lot of options for sensors. They seem pretty cheap but do the job I guess.

I bought this to connect to my Samsung POWERbot smart vacuum and I really like the other sensor that came with the kit. Use the power one every day with my Google home to turn lights on. Easy to set up and it really works but does not connect to NEST Smart thermostat very good so 4 stars.
