No complex installations. Easy to use. Love the feature that allows you remotely turn things on and off

The Smart Things Hub is awesome. I LOVE the door sensors. They give you the temperature in the room where they are installed! Brilliant! With a three story home it allows me to see what the temperature is on each floor. Also Syncs with ARLO cameras and Ring Doorbell. Also I can use Amazon Echo devices to command the outlet to turn on/off. I will add outside outlets that allow me to turn on/off Christmas lights without having to go out in the cold!

I researched no cost home monitoring and found Samsung Smart Things to be a great value, connectivity, and available options. I have this system for 1 year and am now buying for my son.

Got this for our kids for their new home. Can use without a monitoring company but can add a monitoring company in the future if they want it. Flexible system.

We bought this for one of our clients that wanted to automate a few lights and thermostat. Having total home control via the app is where this product shines. Easy to grow with your needs with zwave products, simple setup and scale-able. I now own one myself and find new uses for it all the time, makes my life easier like technology should.

I have had this kit for a few weeks. Setup was extremely easy and the user interface is easy to manage. I am knocking one star because I have had a few disconnects. My back door sensor (that is 20 feet away from hub) keeps disconnecting.

Everything worked well. Easy to set up without much experience and got some nice automation going in the house. Would recommend.

the smart home system works pretty well. I like it so far compared to my previous home monitoring system especially the fact that its compatible with numerous non Samsung devices. I am Still exploring the many opportunities it offers.

was looking for this after I picked up a few Amazon Echos for the house, this opens and closes my front door and arms my alarm system and we are able to monitor our home when we are away, comes with a few plugs for fans, lights, etc.. that you can use your voice to turn on

Very easy to set up and maintain. Much better than the Vera, although I wish they had Backup and Restore capability. The Z-wave wasn't working on my unit at first, before I had time to contact them - Smartthings emailed me about the issue and sent a replacement unit right away.

I really enjoy my new home automation. There are so many “things” you can add. The only reason that I didn’t give e this 5 stars is because several of my “things” lose connection with the base station.

This product is good for first time smart home users. It is slowly getting better with each update and new compatible products. Pretty easy to set up.

I started with The Phillips Hue bulbs and i now have the brains to run countless smart devices for my smart home. This product let's you add everything you need or want in a smart home. It has worked without any issues. It is easy to set up and use. This is a must have.

Worked perfectly right our of the box. I had no issues connecting our Arlo cameras, Hue lights and other sensors. I read the other reviews where people have had issues with the 'new' app, but so far, everything has worked as expected. Alexa control is quick and reliable.
