The hub was so useful in connecting all of my Philips Hue lights together and controlling it through Google Home.

Doesn't connect to sensors easily. Not much better or worse than other hubs.

Good product to unite all the smart home objects inside home. It would be great if it has nest integration too.

Works great with GE Z-Wave switches. Only thin I would like to have better control on scheduling the switches

I use it to control my smart light bulbs--schedule daily on and off on one bulb and geo-fence on for another.

I purchased the Smart Things hub to be able to use their motion sensors to trigger lighting in a few rooms in my home, where the light switch is either outside the room (Walk in closet) or difficult to get too (Pantry and Laundry). Set up was easy, and I have used the GE Z wave switches recommended by Smart Things.

Just connect it to your router or modem, it will update itself, download the app, you'll set it up through the app, connect with Echo or whatever you're using, and you're good. I like that the hub is compatible with so many different smart things (light bulb, open door indicator, motion sensor, etc)

A smart home configuration is not necessarily simple task. The smart things hub helps set this up. However some techno knowledge is recommended. For me, I love this product, as it allows me to do different things. I installed two G/E smart switches and G/E fan switches and they work great.

Okay product. I would rather it look nicer for the sake of looking nicer for the home. Needs better appeal

Needed this for the cameras and water sensor. The ring doorbell is next.Not easy to sync with the cameras.

I like it because I can control my thermostat and outside lights. Plan on adding more items to the system.

Originally got this so that I could control my smart lock on my front door from anywhere.... loved it so much I ended getting smart switches, outlets, lights... went a little over board but really like the functionality and convenience of being able to control my house with the push of a button

Tis Samsung smart things connects several platforms together over a wifi signal. It works well with the amazon echo to connect things together so the echo can connect to them. we are using this to connect the Philips hue to the echo for voice activated lights. It seems to be easy to connect and reliable to use.

I found the Samsung SmartThings Hub simple to set up and use. Currently I am using with the MultiRoom speakers, Amazon Echo Dot and Belkin Wemo light bulbs. It allows me to control my speakers and lights with a simple voice command, and while there is still a learning curve, it works pretty well together.

Purchased to work with lights and locks just takes a wh8le to set.up and link devices to hub and alexa

I didn’t want 10 different apps to control my smart home or have to buy smart products I didn’t care for because they were compatible. The Samsung Smartthings solved all my issues I had with other hubs. Easy to program & use. Compatible with Alexa and all my favorite smart devices.

There are a number of smart hubs available for purchase, but I decided on this one and I'm glad I did. I haven't had any problems with it and I've integrated several devices (Ring, Nest, HomeSeer, etc). In fact, I just bought a second one and I'm going to help my brother automate his home.

I purchased this router because it is both Zigbee and Z-Wave. The price was right. I don't even have to think about it. Even if my router loses Internet connection, once it comes back, the hub re-connects itself. Since original setup, there is nothing more that I have ever needed to do.

Replaced my wink link hub with this. This hub is more versatile and gave me the ability to add my thermostat and a couple other bulbs. Stays connected unlike my wink. I like the notification when the hub is not connected because I know when my ISP is down. Do wish it had wifi though.

Does what I had hoped. A little learning curve. Samsung support was fast on that for a good result.
