The hub is very easy to set up and use. It supports a good amount of products. What items are not supported can be custom added but it is very complex to do it. Smartthings does have a great online community that can and will answer your questions if you get stuck.

This is going to make life super easy for turning my house into a smart house

I bought this to control Z-wave outlets. I mainly use with the intent of controlling my Christmas lights (tree and village). Very easy to install and it found my outlets without issue. Very fast response when using Alexa (Amazon echo voice command). Great hub!

The smart hub works well to manage my door lock. We use on our vacation home.

Bought this as a bundle deal with a smart deadbolt. Must say setup was a breeze and there are a lot of options to add automation to your home. Had a couple of days where the hub popped off/online (only offline for a minute or two) Overall. I'm very satisfied.

When you start to get into the devices to run your house becareful on what plays nice with what. Great product but did not play with Nest or the light switches I had to use so it went back but i did setup and that was easy. Great product just could not use.

I bought this together with 3 water leak sensors without knowing it supports multiple other non-Samsung products like Kwikset smart locks and Honeywell thermostats! Now I’m definitely getting more smart stuff to automate my home with this hub!

I have been using this SmartThings hub for awhile now and everything works great. I am still working on adding more items to the system/house and setting up the scenes is pretty easy. Works with my lights, switches, and Amazon Alexa.

I actually bought this for my yale z wave. It works OK on Yale but not the rest of my equipment which are not z wave. It can communicate with Ring, some wemo but that is all it do. You cannot even control them via the smarthing hub. Disappointing. Also having no luck installing it to my wife iphone.

Using this hub to work lights and moisture sensor in our second home, It was easy to hook up and add smarthings equipment and also to set up apps to turn on and off lights. SO much more you can do with this thing, I am anxious to add more items.

I started home automation a few years back using Vera hardware - which required a lot of expertise to get working and add hardware. The Samsung was easy to get up and running and the community provides support for custom applications

Fantastic Device. Most everything you want is available out of the box. Should there be an item that isn't native the community most likely will provide. It makes like a bit easier and just fun to play with!! Bought one for my BIL for Christmas

I upgraded from the Wink system and everything from reliability to the app and the online customization is amazing. Everything from running custom code to add new unsupported devices can be done using code found on the forums. Amaziing stuff!
