We are very happy with our purchase of the iSamsung SmartThings Hub. It does everything we need and more.

Having used smartthings for a while now, I have to affirm that it truly is the best home automation system for the average home user. Having used other home automation systems in the past (including WINK, Caseta, Philips Hue) the amount of devices supported and overall customization is breath taking with smartthings. Being an early adopter has it's downfalls, I jumped on the bandwagon for home automation early with WINK. After waiting for WINK to fix their many many issues, I finally decided to switch to smartthings. Going from 10-30 seconds to turn on a light bulb to less than 1 second, it was literally like moving into the future of home automation. Adding in sensors and additional automation items is simple, and intuitive. The range of the base is great. Please add support to backup to the cloud, or backup to USB/Flash. The biggest problem with home automation is adoption. Strategically adding amazon echo dots to the house has made the smartthings automation system something that everyone in my house uses all the time.

My old house had X10 and downsized into existing home. This hub is a great gateway into home automation

This is one of the only devices that handles both zwave and zigbee. No monthly fee and it works great.

I live in a home full of hue bulbs,echo’s And a smart thermostat. This tied them all together nicely

So much better than Wink. I fought a Wink Hub for months for just a few bulbs. Bought a Kwikset lock that required either a new Wink or Smartthings so opted for this. Everything was working literally within 5 minutes. Hasn't failed and is so smooth to operate and even links with Alexa. Very happy!

Works well with my google home and Philips Hue lights! It was easy to set up and works great so far!

I selected Smartthings for the wide array of products it controls, and have been pleased -- it works well. The SmartThings app (iOS) is functional, but quirky, and doesn't always respond. I would still recommend to a friend, especially for a first leap into smart home functionality.

This hub works great. Its UI on my cell phone is easy to navigate and connected to the smart things hub quickly. The hub connects to many different manufacturers devices and does it fast and easy. I was also able to connect it to my Amazon Echo just as fast. I haven't had any problems with it yet.

I love this thing. Simple to setup, simple to program, simple to use and works great with Alexa.

Bought this device because my X10 equipment was outdated and starting to fail. This hub works great! I've got GE Z-Wave dimmers and switches. And for Lights without those switches, I've mixed in some Cree Zigbee light bulbs. Everything works perfectly. Scheduling couldn't be simpler. The App works like a champ and it also integrates with my Alexa Dot. Now I can also use voice commands to turn off or dim my lights. And even though I've got a manual 7 day programmable Heating/AC thermostat which works very well, for Father's Day, I plan on getting the Ecobee4 Thermostat to further automate my home. Schedules are nice but I find myself getting up to change the thermostat setting more often than not. It will be nice not having to get up to fiddle with the thermostat anymore. I'll just be able to tell Alexa to change the thermostat setting. And having the ability to control my Lights remotely from my phone makes everything that much better. Thank you SmartThings!!!

Bought it to have a leak detection monitor in the boiler room. Easy to set up and very useful.

This is the hub to buy if you are going to make your home smart. Smart Things controls most smart devices out today. Be sure to check if it is compatible with your existing smart home devices before purchasing. I would recommend this because it is easy to set up and works well with IFTTT

Purchased this device to replace an Insteon controller as I'm switching my home from Insteon to ZWave. The controller works and is very easy to use. At first I wish it had IR capabilities, but then realized that it works well with Logitech Home. That solved my IR needs, but it's just another device that I needed to buy. I give this device 4 stars because of two reasons 1) The setup and control of my home system is done via a mobile/table app. This makes some things more difficult to program. Please offer a installation program or web interface where I can do tasks like export/import settings and allow more complicated automatic routines. 2) I've had some automated routines not activate. For instance I have a Night routine that comes on 20 mins after sunset that turns lights on throughout my house. Over the course of 60 days that routine not execute probably 4 times. This is not right. I've read from other reviews that some people setup another routine just to make sure a prior routine is ran.

I spent a good deal of time looking at all the compatibility charts and the Smartthings Hub seemed to be the best choice. It'll work with Alexa and the newer Google Home speaker. I've got about 8 devices hooked up with this hub and Alexa, everything works well and setup isn't too bad either.

The hub is very easy to set up & was able to connect to all the smart devices in my home easily

This device is great!! This allows you to automate various things in your home. You must purchase compatible items in addition to this to make it work. You also need a hardwire network outlet to plug into. This connects the hub to your home network (and therefore to your smartphone wherever you are in the world). The hub communicates with the automation devices wirelessly, so should be centrally located in your home.

Easy setup. Most HA zigbee devices are compatible which is a plus. Recommend to other people.

Love being able to control my lights with this hub and Google Home. On/Off/Dim. Great stuff!
