Purchased on sale & is a good value. But no SD card to store video. Need to subscribe to keep up to 30 days of video.

Overall this is not a bad camera but I’m reluctant to recommend it due to the undesirable SmartThings app needed to manage it. Plus, there are other cameras in this price range with a few more bells and whistles. PROs • Good wide 145 degree viewing angle (diagonal) • Motion detection works well. Default is to monitor the whole screen but you can choose specific areas If you want. Useful to ignore motion, for example, of trees through a window, or pets running through the bottom of the view. • 1080p resolution clear image • Infrared for night vision up to 16.4 feet • Does not require a hub • Two-way speaker • Works on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wi-fi networks CONs • Runs warm even when turned off. • Horrible unintuitive SmartThings app by Samsung is needed to use it. You can’t even set a simple routine such as turning it off/on at specific times unless you set up two programs: one to turn it on and the another to turn it off. Easily knocks off 1 to 1.5 stars from the rating. • No remote pan/tilt the camera. Somewhat negated by the wide view, though a zoom would have been nice. Other 30 day trial for premium features, but free option allows you to take 10-second clips (versus 60-seconds on premium) that are available for 24 hours (versus 30 days). The free option also limits you to 4 cameras (versus 8 on premium) on the cloud account; all additional cameras are limited to live streaming. If you’re already invested in the SmartThings ecosystem, then it’s worth considering.

I got it hooked up and it appears to work fine. I need to use it a little more before I give it 5 stars. However for its price, I think it is a good deal.

This is a very good product. It was easy to install. Have some shortcomings relating to the connection. It still allows me to see what’s going on in my home while I’m away.

Bought to use as a baby monitor. I like that I can use an app on my phone to see the kids and hear them. Only downside is they constantly need reconnecting. I originally bought them last year and they stopped connecting so I got new ones with the geek squad protection. Hopefully won’t have any issues this time.

I get for my boys room. And is really good, easy set up, good videos. Now I go work in totally peace.

For the price I paid I guess it works fine. Seems to disconnect from WIFI a lot. The wide view is nice and picture quality is good.

Bought it to monitor our apartment. Love the ease of setting up. The video is great quality.

Once connected, the picture is good. Could not connect this camera to a Comcast Arris modem. The camera runs hotter than I would have expected. Instructions for this product was less than great. Was more trouble than it was worth, finally swapped for another brand.

Pros; Great Security Camera with wide view and very easy easy installation. Cons; Wired power, wish it had battery for power.

Easy connection through the SAMSUNG SMARTHINGS app. Clear images and wide angle. You don need a hub for this.

Just what I needed to keep an eye on the pets. Sharp picture, easy set up.

These are easy to set up, they are easy to use but they pick up everything lots of false alarms from sound and moths.

The camera is sleeker than my last set of indoor cameras. It's good that it can pair with SmartThings to control from your phone and set up was easy. However, the camera doesn't always stay connected to the wifi. Shows disconnected at times.

Covers wide area. Clear HD quality frames. Very sensitive microphone.
