I haven't tried testing if it works. It's good to know that when my 11 year old washer and 11 yr old hot water heater will burst, I"ll be notified.

It must be used with the hub unit which is sold separately. I had no problems with it. Also very useful if you use the app on your phone.

good and its cool that it reports temperature. I think for the money I prefer other brands with extensions so they wont get damaged in a flood.

I have continuous leaks in some spots in my home and this sends an alert straight to my phone so I can fix the problem before it's a major issuse

Helps me to feel comfortable knowing I will get an alert even when I'm not home if there are any water leaks in my home.

I have had the product for about a month at the time of writing and have had no problems.The temp sensor built in is a nice touch.

When I tested on water it worked - i am using it to warn me if AC in hard to reach spot leaks BUT...like the other SmartThings it has a tendency to randomly go offline and need to be reset. But I don't get an "action alert" it's offline so I don't know for days unless I check my app dashboard. Then I need to squeeze into the hard to reach spot to reactivate it. Company needs to address that problem before I give more stars.

Sensor worked great. Used it to be alerted to water coming in basement while waiting for major home repair of problem.

Within 3 seconds of the sensor touching the water I have a text message telling me. As an added bonus it tells the temperature.

i bought couple of them to hook it up my smart fone to keep me posted while im home or away thanks to samsung getting smarter!

Leak sensors work ok except for sporadic loss of connection with hub. Frustrating. Connectivity should not have to be a daily concern.

Have this item connect to my Samsung hub. Have tested it several times, and find it to work well. No surprise leak worries.

Must have....to go with Samsung Smart things hub. Placed one by the Water Boiler and plan to get more

Good product. It seems to be working as it is telling me my water tank area is dry. Time will tell if it actually works.

I've had this set up for a few months now, and its disconnected at least twice without any notification.

Seems to be working. My 4 year old daughter "stole" the one I placed by the kitchen sink and it told on her right away once she started bridging the sensors with her hand holding it. However, after only having it 5 days the battery is already down to 55%. That is terrible battery life. I have battery power surveillance cameras which last weeks on a charge. This thing should be able to last much longer.

The product is of high quality and exceeds my expectations. I would recommend it to others to purchase.

I'm super impressed with how quickly alerts come through when water is detected. Very solid product!

I installed several of this on my toilet and sinks. Have been reliable so far.
