Leak sensor works great. Used under washing machine where we’ve had periodic leaks from door. Able to tie alarm to SONOS speakers.

Works as advertised. Hopefully battery last many years. Set up notifications utilizing Smart Things hub for the me and the wife.

This is a great device for a reasonable fee. It tells you the temperature wherever it is placed. Very easy to setup. Highly recommend.

In my basement I have this wonderful floor drain that every once in a while gets a clog and issues forth grey water from my washer and my kitchen. I've put measures in place to keep that from happening again, but I wanted the peace of mind in knowing I would get a notification if it happens again. So.... Once I got this connected to the Smart hub, I tested the unit with a little water in a saucer. I set the sensor contacts into the water for a few seconds and began to lift it up when my phone rang with message that I had a leak. The other thing I found out that isn't really advertised is that this unit also reads and reports the temperature at its location. With that in place, I can set a trigger in my hub to turn up the heat if the temp falls below a certain temp (and that is just the undocumented bonus feature of this sensor - they had me at water leaks.)

Looked at several possible leak sensors to pair with my water main valve to reduce the risk of water damage. This sensor had the least expensive and longest lasting battery. It works great. Within 10 seconds of detecting water it closes the water main and turns off the hot water heater. Great peace of mind.

I added it to my WINK system rather easily, put it under the dishwasher, and now I'm ready to go in case of a leak!

These are very good at detecting water leaks under sinks, etc. However, one of mine has lost connection to the hub 2-3 times over 5 months. I typically pull the battery and reset. The battery life has been very good and still at 100% after 5 months. The additional temperature reading is helpful as well.

Water leaks are expensive to fix so these water leak senors are great for monitoring leaks all over the house.

I placed this device in my second story laundry room to know if a water leak occurs from the pipes.

It is simple to configure. I like how it displays the temperature of the room as a added bonus.

These work great ! Price was good as well. I had another one before and needed a second one.

I put this in my basement that is prone to sewage backups. I don't go down there often and can't hear regular beeping detectors from upstairs. This one is great and will trigger a text message to my phone when there is a leak via my smart things hub! Isn't the future great?

It integrated seamlessly with my smart things hub. It’s a snap to set up and I have peace of mind. I actually bought two, One for the washer and one for the hour water heater. I labeled them for in the future when a battery change becomes necessary.

We have these under every sink, behind every toilet, by the water heater, and even in our freezer in case the door gets left open and it starts to thaw. It also registers temp, so I can set alerts on the freezer so I get a prompt even before it thaws enough to create water. I even installed them in the wall under where the roof penetrations for plumbing are so I will know if/when there is a roof leak. And, even though that shroud didn't leak, we have a metal roof that had an issue with one of the screws above the pipe penetration that was letting water between the metal and the ice shield that then ran down the roof an into the whole for the plumbing creating a small puddle. Caught it before it became and issue. Again, love these little guys. The off market ones are okay, but these are flawless for about the same money.

Works better than most knock off brands and integrates with google home nicely.

Haven’t required it yet, but works great when tested with multiple scenarios.
