We purchased this to sit next to our sump pump and water heater. It will notify us the second moisture is detected. It provides piece of mind when we're away from the home that we don't have water coming in anywhere. So far, it works great, although we haven't had a real emergency yet.

I love this whole idea... Water sensors are a great idea, going to get like 4 more. Also shows the temp where it's placed, interesting how hot a refrigerator runs. Only issue is some sales guy started these would not be available for long... Hope he was incorrect.

Nothing really flashy or exciting but it's great for peace of mind. I'm using it under my water heater.

I have one of these set up under each sink, the water boiler, and under the home water meter. Living in a state with cold winters and possible frozen pipes I these setup to my smart hub to send my cell phone text messages in case a water leak is detected.

Paired right away with smarthings v2 hub. Tested with moisture on hand about 40' from the hub and it picked up right away. Only a couple of weeks old, but battery reads at 100%. This should alert me if there's a leak under my sink before it becomes a big problem.

This exactly what we wanted. Easy to set up and works great with smart hub.

One of my biggest worries is flooding the basement when im not home. This takes care of that. You can put several around your house or under the sink. Takes minutes to link it up and then you can be notified if something is wrong at home via the app.

Work great. Only complaint is battery type is rare and kind of expensive. Works prefer cr123

Picked up on sale during Black Friday. Paired easily with my Smarthings hub.

it is set for surface leaks only and has to be placed on counter or floor. My use was near a sump pump so i am concerned it may get kicked or jostled since it is near an area that could happen. Besides detecting water between 2 contacts it also has a temp sensor.

I havent got a chance yet to test this. But the setup was a breeze.

i have a samsung smart hub and multiple IOT devices and this sensors ties in perfectly. Easy to set up and connect to existing network, using it under my fish tank near filter to be alerted if there are any leaks. So far so good
