Must own for q900a and compatible bars

Paired with the q900a, these little guys pack an immersive punch, really adding to the surround sound be it regular old Dolby Digital/DTS or ATMOS and DTS:X. My heart had been set on the q950a ever since my K950 went on the fritz but the price tag stayed at $1599 for the longest after spending time on sale for $1199 (as of this writing the q950a is now at $1399). But that was a year ago and I knew the q900a was expandable with these so I pulled the plug. With the added rears, I'm now at 9.1.4 rather than 11.1.4 which is fine. I'll eventually build a true ATMOS setup - in the meantime, this setup is terrific for my listening needs!

I don't think their engineers meant these to be loud at all, but it depends on the program you're watching. I have my sound bar up to 6 (max) on rear sound and can hear them but very discrete. I tried to upgrade to the bigger Atmos rear channel speakers Samsung has but my sound bar is not compatible so stuck with these even though the sound bar is an Atmos sounder, that sucks. They are not truly wireless as they need to be hooked up to a wireless hub to work and the speaker wires provided are pretty short but it worked in my case, after I spliced some speaker wire onto the left speaker as it was a little too far away. Other than that happy with them.

    Great Addition to Q800B Soundbar

Excellent rear speakers! Great addition to the main Samsung Q800B soundbar. DO YOU HOMEWORK to make sure these speakers actually work with the soundbar you have. Don't purchase them and to then find out they won't work and rate them 1 star because you didn't do any research! These are much bigger than I thought but really do an excellent job at adding the full surround sound effect. I lalso saw they were on sale in Nov 2022 for much less than $300...so maybe wait for a sale if you're not willing to invest the full $300 in just rear speakers.

I had already purchased the Samsung soundbar and woofer. Love how it has enriched our television watching. It adds so much more to the movies as well. The sound is exceptional. My son had one and fell in love with the quality so had to purchase one for our house. When these back speakers went on sale, I could not resist and had to purchase them. They are just as excellent as the other products. It adds such a wonderful surround sound effect to our entertainment. Very easy to set up. So happy I made this purchase! Thank you, Best Buy, for keeping me apprised of all the exciting offers I might be interested in.

Got these to go with my HW-S800B and they work really, really well. I got them open-box and I couldn't be happier with them. What's cool is that they're each self-contained. by that I mean with other soundbar systems there's usually a receiver/amplifier unit and then you have to run wires to the satellite speakers, not these, they each have a power cord, which for my purposes is better than having to run speaker wire. Also, they sync with the soundbar at the push of a button. If I am not mistaken, you can also run more than one pair (I think depending on which soundbar model you have), but I only have one pair, giving me a 5.1.4 channel system with the HW-S800B.

These speakers were open box and they were an outstanding deal($85). It took just a few minutes to pair with my existing Samsung sound bar and they worked perfectly. They are a great addition to my home theater. I f you have the Samsung Q800F, go out and grab these rear speakers; you won't regret it.

When I purchased my Samsung Q80 55" TV for my bedroom, I thought the sound from the TV was pretty good for a TV. But I decided to add a sound bar to enhance the sound and tried a less expensive Polk sound bar. While the Polk sounded good, it died in 5 months, thank goodness for the Geek Squad warranty. I got a full refund and instead of staying with the Polk S2, I thought I would upgrade to the Samsung Q700A. What a difference! This sound bar is dynamic if set up properly. If you have a Samsung Q70, 80 or 90 and put the soundbar in bit stream mode... the sound will fill the room. The only thing missing was a fuller rear sound like my Yamaha 6.1 sound system in my living room... so a week later I added the rear speakers... wow! If you can get this system on sale, don't hesitate. I am amazed there is negligible difference between this Samsung sound bar with the matching rear speakers compared to my optically wired Yamaha 400 watt 6.1 surround sound system in my living room. The sound is just as immersive in the bedroom now for music, TV and movies. So now I tend to go to bed earlier... not just to sleep... but to fluff up a pillow and and comfortably enjoy theater quality picture and sound until lights out.

These are fantastic little speakers. When placed correctly they provide excellent sound. They have to be placed in a very strict location to actually hear the the top firing Atmos speakers. Since they reflect sound off the ceiling you have to have a perfectly flat ceiling that cannot be more than 9 ft tall. That sounds has to travel from the top firing speakers, hit the ceiling, and bounce directly above you. It's very hard to get them perfect and it tookr over 2 hours of finding the right placement. You can crank up the speakers with the Samsung Smart Things app, but even when playing DD+ Atmos content with heavy overhead sounds, they just aren't that powerful. They're a good price on sale, and paired with my Q-900C soundbar flawlessly and never disconnected.

A good set of speakers to add to your samsung sound bar. However the atmos up firing speaker on them dont do a good enough job to justify the price. This does beat having side speakers on the soundbar to mimic the other channels.

These are great rear speakers to pair with one of the matching Samsung soundbars. The sound quality of the system overall impresses me; I've got an open TV area with a sloped ceiling up to the second floor, and open to the living and dining rooms... so challenging to fill with good sound... yet these speakers do it. The rear speakers don't necessarily have a lot of content, but they connect well and play when there's content for them.

Speakers were easy to set up. It may be helpful to note that these speakers are for cinematic effect (in other words - they are not for extra stereo sound). The effects sound pretty good and add to the viewing experience. When you spend a fair chunk of $$ on a new TV and soundbar ...it just seemed logical to grab these as well. Note: It has been tough to find stands that will hide (fit) the power cord that is needed with these "Wireless Speakers"

Awesome sound, love it! Some say they need them to be louder, but I haven't found that to be the case. It's not supposed to be like the main soundbar. It adds ambient sound to surround the room with sound. Overall, worth the money.

On Labor Day I purchased the Samsung Q900C Soundbar directly from Samsung and it did not include rear speakers. I immediately checked online to see what compatible rear speakers were available and then I found the Samsung 2.0.2 channel wireless rear speaker kit. I must say I was so surprised with this one, coming from the Nakamichi Shockwave 7.1 system with SSE. The sound is incredible and there are no dead zones on the new Samsung soundbar w/ this rear speaker kit. The soundstage and the height channels (especially for rainy all encompassing scenes) really immerse you into the atmosphere of the scene. I usually keep by rare speakers right is not slightly behind my couch on the left and the right me. My previous setup, although very powerful, Made rare sounds very directional meaning I knew the precise location the sound was coming from. The newer rear speakers have a bubble effect and so instead of hearing sounds come from a specific location which is the speaker, the sound emanates from the environment. This is 100% I recommend if you just purchased the Q900C on the Labor Day sale. I don't think you regret it at all and Price Wise I think it's pretty reasonable.

Added these to my Samsung Q730D soundbar. They definitely add to the movie experience. In the channel settings in the smart things app, just turn them up to +6 and you’ll get good volume out of them. Watched Force Awakens, and you can really hear these things, even when not directly behind the listener. Very happy with my purchase. I found these open box in excellent condition for only $80. Keep checking the site and buy them for pickup as soon as you find them at a location close enough to you. I drove almost an hour and definitely feel like I got a good deal over the $300 retail price.

Excellent rear speaker kit to accompany my Samsung Q800B sound bar. Easy to setup and pair. The Atmos effects aren't that noticeable from the rear speakers and they are a bit quiet on certain content but they do create a much larger sound stage when the right content is played with them. The power cable design is not the best for speaker stands. Due to the location of the L power connector on the bottom, I could not route the power cable down my stands and instead had to route them on the outside with zip ties. Also, the included power cables are very short, luckily I was able to hide the extension cable I used underneath the couch. Pricey for what they are, luckily I purchased them on discount. They are on the heavier side so be sure to purchase speaker stands that can support the weight without drooping or falling over. I used Atlantic speaker stands PN 77305018 which worked perfectly for me (minus the cable management). Overall I would buy them again at the price point that I got them at.

Great sound and a very worthwhile addition to the Atmos Soundbar this pairs with. I don't think you can truly appreciate the atmos sound quality without these. In my opinion, these are not as big as others have mentioned, but I went into it based on the reviews thinking these would be more the size of bigger bookshelf speakers (they aren't). Certainly not the smallest things out there, but not that large.
