The Samsung T7 Shield works well overall and does what it’s supposed to do. The transfer speeds are fast and reliable, and I like how durable and water-resistant it is, which makes it feel safe for storing important files. It’s also compact and easy to carry around. However, the price is a little high compared to other external SSDs with similar performance. Still, it’s a solid option if you want something sturdy and dependable.

This drive is very light and compact; easy to carry, but very high functionality in terms of security. I will definitely recommend it especially to those who have large electronic files and want to securely store it. Thank you

Works just like the regular T7 but it has a rubbery case over it. Looks like it will collect dust if left out though. Works just like the original Samsung T7, very fast drive. I don't have any worries about putting data on it to store. Using the Thunderbolt 4 ports on my PC I get the full advertised speed. If you use anything else, or older USB standards you may not get the full speed. No matter what it's WAY faster than a spinning hard drive.

This is the 2nd one of these I’ve purchased. The first was a 500 GB. This one is a 2 TB. This first cost approx. $120. The 2 TB was on sale. It was $199.99 on sale for $139.99. Right now, Best Buy has it for $129.99. Even better. Lots of "bang for the buck." The read/write specs were/are the same; however, this latest version is tougher. The all new rugged PSSD T7 Shield is built to endure with the space to create thanks to an IP65 rating for Dust and Water resistance. The high-tech rubber exterior with Dynamic Thermal Guard controls heat to maintain steady performance. Has both a USB C and a USB C to USB A cable. Samsung is a recognized leader in SSD products…and you see the quality in this product. I bought the lesser version…and recently bought the superior one…AGAIN. Enough said. Buy this and you won’t be disappointed.

This external storage is great! I will say that is has fast transfer speeds and is light weight to carey around. The external casing keeps the drive very safe from falls and scratches. I will be purchasing a second drive soon.

Went in for a couple of SSD drives and bought this because it was a good price compared to another drive I also purchased. Very happy with it so far. Fast transfer speeds and mounts fast. Small size and easy to transport. So far so good and very happy with it.

Amazing write speed, load of space, very rugged to I know nothing will happen to it if it drops, and with the C port I can plug it into basically anything to transfer files I love it.

The T7 is a compact sized SSD that holds a lot of data. The backup process is straightforward. Getting prepared to backup the data was not complicated at all.

It saved my life. Now everything is soo easy . Peace of mind using my Lumix S5 ii X. I can record in a very high quality. My camera activates a high res mode when i'm recording to an external device. No complaints. I would definitively buy again.
