Was looking for a UHD player and found this one. It''s quiet, which I like. The remote is a little too small for my hands and finding fast forward and rewind is a bit of a challenge. And no front light display. Haven't tried the apps yet.

I really love this product when playing a 4K movie. The only problem I have with it is that when you play a dvd or plain Blueray it occasionally freezes even with brand new movies. Otherwise great picture quality when it works

I purchased the Samsung - UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD to go with my 4K Samsung TV, it plays 4K Disc flawless, and also enhances Blu-ray and regular DVD's as well. I normally don't sit around watching TV all day, however, this 4K Disc player makes it hard to walk away from the TV. Be sure that your HDMI cable are 4K compliant, or you might have problems when viewing 4K Movies. Jim

I fought for awhile to buy a 4K player thinking I'm didn't really need one. Boy was I wrong. Adds great clarity and color to your favorite movie and the sound is theater quality

Plugged directly into my receiver with no issues and has been great with ease of use. The quality on the tv watching 4k movies is great.

Was waiting for the Oppo 4K to come out but needed something now for 4K movies. The Samsung is the only one out of about 3 real 4k bluray players out there. The Samsung was the only one under $800 at this time. Great little player with wireless and smart options. Would have been better if priced around $200 but it's the only game in town out right now thats some what affordable .

I been wanna buy this item for so long but they asking to much money when it on sale for half off I jump and got is worth buying it now everything it so clear I highly recommend it

If you are looking for 4K player this is the best you can get. Works smoothly playing 4K and Bluray disks. The software to connect to online sources works too, but can be improved, so update, update, update.

This BluRay player is easy to set up, use and provides great quality picture and sound through my 4K HD TV. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended!

Very sleek design and the remote is small and sleek too, gone are the days of bulky electronics. The picture quality is great, wish we could find more 4K movies to watch on it.

This UHD bluray player performs as expected and delivers nice quality HDR playback. While it does not have Dolby Atmos decoding, you can set the audio playback to bitstream and let your Atmos enabled AV Receiver to do the work. The smart app features are nice, however with most TVs now having smart apps I don't find myself using the player for the apps. Additionally, the price dropped down to $319 ($295 excellent open box for me which was practically brand new and still had all the plastic wrappers intact). Bestbuy was also running a bundle promo of $200 off with purchase of any Samsung SUHD which was a great deal as I was in the market for both.

Extremely easy to setup and use and produces a very good picture. Extremely easy to connect and use Netflix via my wireless network.

The DVDs player was easy to operate and the picture quality was great. It was a great addition to my new Samsung 65 inch curved tv.

THIS 4K BLURAY PLAYER IS SOLID. THE ONLY THING I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT IT IS THAT IS MAKES NOISE SOMETIMES... AND IS A LITTLE SLOW... OTHER THAN THAT... IT UPSCALES MOVIES VERY NICE!

I bought this Samsung TRUE 4K BLURAY player because it was the ONLY existing True 4k Bluray Player. Let me explain... I enjoy watching 4k movies VIA ACTUAL 4K DISCS, AS WELL AS streaming 4k content... EVERY OTHER SO CALLED "4K PLAYER" IS ONLY FOR STREAMING 4K CONTENT OFF THE INTERNET... I think it's great that those "fake 4k players" are able to stream 4k content... HOWEVER, if I wanted to stream 4k content ALL I HAVE TO DO IS USE MY SMART 4K TV (Prefer not to mention brand, just trying to make a point without bashing samsung.) I LOVE OWNING MY MOVIES PHYSICALLY ON DISC, in my opinion it's just more reliable that way. So THANK YOU Samsung, for bringing extraordinary movie lovers like myself this SO FAR ONE OF A KIND 4K BLURAY PLAYER... which I have pride in collecting so far

We recently purchased a SUHD TV and it was recommended to us that we purchase a 4K BluRay player. This machine does exactly what it is supposed to. We have not had any issues playing our 4K movies and the picture quality is great!

This unit is awesome works great with my samsung 4k tv. Plays 4k as well as upconverts everything all the apps come up quick looks amazing cannot beat the price of this player.

Picture quality is amazing when paired with an UHDTV...enhances standard DVD's as well...my kids say its like being on the set of the movie. Easy set up, well worth the money.
