So far this DVD player has been everything promised: I've used the 4K Ultra, BlueRay, and regular DVD modes and everything is simple and easy to use. High quality.

The Samsung 4K Blu Ray player is without doubt the best picture and sound I have ever seen from physical media. Do yourself a favor and get a Dolby Atmos setup. You will love it.

Price dropped twice within weeks of buying it. Overall picture quality is great remote is not really what you would expect very small and limited for a 4k player.

Start this purchase with a defective ubd-k8500 got it switched out new one runs great. I love the upscaling on the bluerays as well. Well worth the money for the great picture.

I had a blu-ray player and I'm so glad I took the chance on a 4K. It is incredible!! It brings everything into focus so much better than a blu-ray without 4K.

I really like it. Excellent quality. Very easy to install it...plug and play. Love all the extra features! Also it reads all type of DVDs including burned disks!

Got this with my new 4k TV. Easy to use software and controls. Picture is outstanding. Use it to connect to Netflix and YT, but there is no way to hook up a keyboard to the Internet - software does not seem to work.

i like the easy of use of this layer. Nice bright picture and fast response for DVD's. If you like a lot of apps like Vudu then this player isn't for you.

I bought a 65" SUHD TV and this blue-ray player was highly recommended for it. I am duly impressed with this player, clarity is awesome. It definitely brings out the best in a SUHD TV.

Solid disc player that supports Blu-ray, 4k UHD, DVD and even 3D Blu-rays. Great performance and easy to hook up.

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. The presentation after I opened the box was surprising. I expected the standard Styrofoam packaging. That was not the case. When I opened it the player was displayed in the box like it was a $5000.00 player. I tried a few other players. And they had a lot of lag starting the movie. This had no lag at all. It has incredible picture and sound quality. Even the remote is meticulously crafted. I highly recommend this player.

The best picture I have ever seen. And so easy to setup and use. I love this 4K blu ray player and it had made my family movie nights so much more enjoyable

Outstanding unit. Picture and sound are awesome. I would say better than the movie theaters. Now down side I can see at this point. Highly recommend this product!

The setup was easy and the 4K videos are amazing on my new 4k LG TV. I highly recommend this if you own a 4k TV.

I had been putting off buying 4K BluRay because Samsung was the only one and a bit pricey. I got impatient and when they offered 12 month interest free, I took the bait. The bottom line is it was easy to set up. It detected the connection correctly and basically configured itself. I purchased a couple of 4K movies to use. It was jaw dropping even compared to BluRay 4K upscale. Fantasmic picture, unfreakin' believable. Can't believe I waited so long. Even the streaming AP for Amazon 4K content is fantabulous! I could not be more pleased and can't wait for more content. Great everything.

Haven't had it long but so far no loss on action sequences. Picture is great. Only issue is remote is too small

Great blue Ray player. The setup is easy, especially when you have a Samsung 4K TV. I also recommend better HDMI cable because you'll get a better picture
