The best thing that came out this year. I know the price is hight but it's worth it. If you love 4k then you love this.

This Samsung UHD-8500 player does an outstanding job with both 4K and 4K HDR Blu Ray movies - imagery is stunning.

I got this wanting to see what 4k was like, it is a nice step up from blu ray, but you are paying for being an early adopter. It feels a little expensive right now and I preferred to wait until the prices came down. In comparison, it is relatively affordable compared to the other options and overall nothing to complain about, just expensive. I would recommend if it was a little cheaper

This 4K player works great and upgrades a standard dvd signal well enough it looks pretty darn good on my LG OLED. I would buy this again but I wish that Samsung would make such a tiny remote. It is hard to hit the right buttons sometimes. I have fairly average fingers but someone with large hands or fingers would probably get really ticked about the remote. It's fairly pricey but I don't spend money stupidly on anything else but Tech Stuff....so it didn't bother me to buy this. I would recommend it if it's within your budget and of course you have an LED that warrants the upgrade.

This samsung blu-ray player goes great with my Samsung 4K 3D television and Yamaha home theater system. The 4K picture is amazing and the added bonus is that it shows 3D movies as well. Amazing, amazing device!!

i only had this unit for a short while, but have had no problems, i`m glad i picked this one! no regrets

Easy to hookup. The menus are easy and it works great with a smart tv. the 4k blurays look amazing on a 4k tv.

Other than the fact that it's so big in a time when things are getting smaller this is a great DVD player. I bought a 4k dvd and it looked great on my 4k tv

This is easy to install and it plays smoothly. We tried to play old movies and we saw an improvement in clarity as against the old player that we have.

This is not up scale blue ray player, this truly a 4k, 3d player on the market. It brings everything to life like image on your 4k TV. If you have the funds plus a 4k TV then you need to purchase this player.

4k UHD HDR blu rays look awesome on my 65x900c. If you have the right TV this is the blu ray player for you assuming you appreciate uncompressed Audio and video.

A bit overpriced but that's to be expected at the launch of cutting edge technology. To get the most out of this product you will need to upgrade your HDMI cable as well.

I got this player for Father's Day. While there isn't a ton of content out there yet in 4K, this player does great with what is there. Plus, it comes with all of the Samsung extras that I have come to expect.

We recently set up the basement of our new house and purchased a 4K television. Even though there is limited availability of 4K movies at this time I am anticipating this will become the norm before long. So we bought tomorrows technology today. The up-charge was nominal. It is a compact component and without any garish display is hardly noticeable on the TV stand. The simple to understand remote and common sense navigation make it perfect for anyone to use.
