Great 4K player wish bestbuy would come down on the price so I can buy another one

While nothing to compare, since this is the only true 4kBR on the market, it works as described. Simple operation. Remote is pretty basic but we use a Harmony anyway. Picture and sound is amazing.

I was looking to add 4K Ultra Blue ray capability to my new sony 4K ultra HD TV. This Samsung works great with my Sony TV and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend.

You need this DVD player to play a true 4-K DVD. Do not let any of the sales representatives tell you that you can "upscale" to 4-K, it isn't possible and the players will not recognize the 4-K disk. You will also need the better HDMI cable as well to get the quality you want and the all important 4-K TV set. Done. Things will catch up but we couldn't wait so I'm sure we paid the price for that. Glad we did...the picture is phenomenal! I would have given it 5 stars but I really don't care for Samsung products and Best Buy was out of Sony.

This DVD player is top of line and easy to use. You can really see the up scaling in the picture quality.

We gave this product as a gift and they loved it. So much they bought one for me and now I love it. The quality doesn't improve much from bluray, but it does show. If you are one who has to have the newest stuff this product is great. I am not sure how it compares to other 4k players except price and this one is the best price wise. One weird is that it has everything a smart tv has which is pointless because all 4k tvs'are smart tvs

This 4K player is an easy set up with all the extras you need. Great picture and fast loading player.

I had done my research before deciding this was the one for me. I haven't had the opportunity to use it for very long but so far, I'm very pleased! The set up was easy. The picture is fabulous!! As long as you have good HDMI cables that can handle the speed of 4K, the picture can't be beat!!

Plenty of options along with great vidios quality. My buddys are jealous. They all want one now.

There is always something better coming around the corner, but for right now and the past year, this was the UHD player to get. Works. Simple enough. Downsides would be the lame curve look and the movies load fast enough, but lets get it blindly fast. Menu screen a little lacking in the looks department - too utilitarian/ industrial in appearance.

I bought a new Sony 4K TV last November and wanted a 4K DVD player but the only Sony players offered at Best Buy were 4K streaming. I don't normally buy Samsung, just prefer Sony, but this turned out to be a great player. The setup was easy, although geared toward a Samsung TV, there were only a few steps to hook it up to my Sony. When watching either Blu-ray (upscaling to 4K) or 4K movies the picture is crystal clear and sharp.

The picture quality on my 4k TV was already great. But with the player.... Amazing . Definitely worth the investment!
