Only True 4k DVD Player for less than $500.00

Most 4k DVD players are upscaling DVD players, not true 4K. If you are in the market for a DVD player that is the best for the money, this is it. However, if you are like us- you will be watching more streamed movies as 4K DVDs are quite expensive at this time.

The first time I played a 4K movie, the 4K player, and 4K tv worked together to provide a excellent picture experience, with great home theater sound. I will continue to purchase 4K movies as those that suit our taste become available. I would recommend this 4K dvd player. I did make the purchase while this player was on sale.

Blu-ray dvd player upgrade needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My previous, older blu-ray player was out of date with the new tv technologies, so I upgraded to a Samsung and it works well in concert with the Samsung 4k tv that I purchased. I only wish I had more control over the default apps that come with it. Netflix and YouTube are at my finger tips, but I wanted to delete Pandora and it wouldn't let me. This player works well and looks great in blu-ray with the 4k Samsung tv.

Also, if your hdmi hook up is greater than 5 ft make sure you pick up a super fast hdmi cable. 4k disks wouldn't work without the cable. I have a 2015 Samsung SUHD tv and paired it with this player. I wasn't getting any picture through a 18 speed hdmi cable, went and bought a 22.5 speed and everything works great.
