Great picture and upgrade to DVD & Blu-ray movies
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It does not have a window that is on other players that show time playing or notifies you if the player is paused, turning off, etc. The on and off light is very small to see, does not respond immediately and is the only way to know it the player is off or on. But the picture is very clear, detailed, and the upgrade of DVD & Blu-ray movies is excellent.

Samsung 4K ultra HD player

The first one I bought was a sony "upgrade", had to take it back the minute I got it home. If you have a 4K TV and want to play BluRay and 4K videos then buy the Samsung.

Awesome Picture!

The picture on my new Samsung 4K player is AMAZING! 4K discs look unbelievably good and even regular Blu-Ray discs look better than before. This player has great features, an easy user interface and works perfectly. I highly recommend!

Great 4k Blue Ray

It has a fast processor that loads discs quickly, espically comparing to standard BR loading on my earlier BR player. The remote is a bit finicky, probably because it is so small. Some of the remote operations are not intuative. The remote is the only reason I did not give this unit a 5 star rating, but maybe I am just being picky. Overall an excellent 4k BR player from video and audio perspective.

Great Picture

We did need to purchase a better grade HDMI cable to get it to play the 4K DVD"s properly to our tv. It works great and the picture is excellent. I think it also improved our older DVD's quality. Not leaps and bounds, but noticeable.

Excellent Images

So far I have only tried one of the newer HD films. Image quality was very good but I can't fairly access, with one sample, if it is any better than an ordinary Blue Ray. The sound , however, seemed a lot better for all categories.
